you can stream divx through tversity to the ps3. ive been doing it for months.
the lighting on this game doesnt change the frame rate. all the details and structures are always there, its just a matter of turning the lighting higher or lower. its not like an explosion or a waterfall.
to my understanding. the lighting has some significance to it. ive read (now consider this was a while ago) that in multiplayer for instance they were thinking of doing something like an on going war. a map that is always active and when the good guys are in control things are light and colorful and when the bad guys are in control things are drab and dark.

thats pretty funny considering all the big exclusives on xbox go to the pc. gears,halo, and bio shock. so according to his statement you should own a ps3 for its exclusives and a pc for the 360 exclusives.

holy crap im excited for this map. if you havent bought warhawk yet, i highly recommend it.
battlefield is a good comparison. its hard to define a speed on it simply because the speed of the vehicles plays into your experience. if you want an idea of how the vehicles feel, play twisted metal black. its not quite arcade speed and not quite real speed. its perfect.

i couldnt give a crap about gamescore and the 40gb was created to lower the price point. and if the price point was that bad, why has the ps3's first year sales out done the 360's first year sales? the rest is stupid. i am all about sony's focus on making new franchises instead of depending on the old ones.
i would suggest turning off the scroller feature and i would have a look at the custom harddrive. you might put the original harddrive back in it and give it a week or two of solid testing. good luck.
edit: i will say that with all technology, sh!t happens. my ps3 has frozen a few times with warhawk and assassins creed. which i think both games have that problem. ive never had the console freeze while folding or just moving through the xmb. nothing is perfect.
yeah it had to be kids who made a game with 16 vs 16 action and the ability for 4 people to play on one ps3 and drop in and out of matches any time they like while dogfights and tank shootouts ensue. plus i cant remember the last time i saw anyone lag. but the trees dont pass firstknights quality test. so i guess this game was made by children.

i take game reviews and previews with a grain of salt and they might keep me from getting something im on the line about or cause me to rent it before i buy it. i just get a feel for how it plays (control scheme) with reviews and previews.
i would trust a fellow n4gite who i think can be objective with his criticism and praise before i would trust a reviewer.

this is a great idea that could potentially help everyone. game makers can recoup costs. the companies in the ads can increase sales, and the alternate source of profit can lower the cost of games or even the gaming machines for the consumer.
well if you played warhawk you would know that the big maps can be sized down. so you actually have 5 or 10 maps depending on the size and area of the map you want. and its a small price to pay to continue to support the game and run the servers and develope more content. the money goes to good use.
im glad they made it cheap to make it more financially feasable for everyone.
