When I went to the store to look for a Switch, I considered just buying the game awhile since I was eventually going to anyway. I ended up not doing it, but I'm sure others did.
Separate but equal amirite
Ugh.
Considering the PR issues Nintendo has from the Wii U, that's a pretty good total. They've got to convince gamers that it's worth getting a Switch.
I think Nintendo should just sit back on this still. It's not like the VR market is massive or devoid of options right now. They should just wait until the tech is better and more easily affordable. Once it's not as big a financial risk, look to see if it's worthwhile. I'm sure Nintendo would bring something new to VR if they decide to enter at some point, but right now there's no point.
I mean, the Switch uses cartridges, so yes.
That would be awesome. I'd love to play Rocket League on the go.
I wish it was affordable because I'd love to play Rock Band VR.
Not sure it's what they are going for, but purple is often associated with royalty, so majesty fits in that sense.
The review 80% of this site was waiting for.
It matters to me as I'd like to buy one now. I've got almost $300 worth of Best Buy gift cards, so I'm waiting until they get it back in stock...
While it's not necessarily stupid to review a console at launch, it's stupid to put much importance on launch reviews. The console will receive tons of updates to add features and fix problems. How the features are viewed can and will change based off of how much or how little and how well games make use of them and, in the Switch's case, how hungry for a powerful portable the market is. Console reviews quickly become outdated within a few weeks or months of the console being out....
I know it matters to many people, but for me, the lack of Netflix at launch is no big deal at all. I've never watched anything on Netflix other than something someone else put on.
Brand loyalty is okay to a degree. If a brand you like consistently puts out products that you enjoy, that's great. People take it way too far though. Fanboys often take brand loyalty to an almost religious level with the praise and the bashing of anything else. People need to realize that not everyone is the same, nor likes the same things, nor wants the same things, etc. And that's great! Competition is great for gaming. Innovation is great for gaming. Some things will be popular wi...
Twister was a major part of my childhood. RIP.
Life expectancy for men in the United States is 76, so, yes, 61 is young.
I had (well, have, somewhere) the first Zune they released. I loved it. It's just a type of technology that time passed by though.
So everyone is allowed to make jokes with the meme except Nintendo. Cool.
The blue shell joke fit the meme.
It would have to capture the 3DS market and more of the home console market to do so, and even then it's a stretch. 100 million consoles is no easy feat. It could be a major success and still not hit that.
Sweet. LBP3 was one of those games I always had some interest in but never bought. Now I don't have to.
I've wanted this song in Rock Band since RB1 came out. It's one of my all-time favorites. So excited for this :)
