All you have to do is look a couple comments down for one. There are several though - some overt and some obvious in their influence.

If you don't like it, don't play it. There's no reason a company shouldn't make a game that appeals to a group of gamers. Madden is generally for football fans. Racing games are generally for racing fans. LGBT games are generally for LGBT players. 99% naked volleyball games are generally for people attracted to women. Anyone can play them (yes you could play a game with a homosexual romance just like gay people play ones with hetero relationships), but they appeal to certain g...

I had a couple PS3s YLOD on me. Had the launch model for a year or two, then it died. Sony sent a replacement that I had to pay for but the replacement was already dead when I got it. Sent that back, got another replacement for free this time. That one worked for around a year and then got YLOD. After that they stopped giving out the launch style as replacements and we got a slim that still works to this day. It really sucks losing everything.

Journey for sure. It's amazing how powerful that game is with few controls and no dialogue. FFVII as well.

@frosty that's just the nature of consoles. Ps4 and Xbox one are outdated already, too.

He just seemed very cliche. It's just one scene though. He could prove to be a good character.

The things that Destiny did well felt pretty same-y. That's fine. The gunplay, environment design, and strike were all good. I wanted to see more from the beta/demo though. This game could prove to have significant improvements, but it was hard to tell from it. I liked the added/changed abilities for the classes, but that's just one thing. The enemy from the last cutscene seemed super lame.

Recency bias says what?

I couldn't get myself to complete it. Got close to the end and just never played it again. Outside of Balthier and Fran, I didn't like or feel anything for any of the characters. The plot was dull. Didn't like the gambit system. Hated the hunt system which felt like it had nothing to do with the game at all.

I wanted to love the game and have thought about getting this, but every time I think back on the game, I remember everything I didn't like. Maybe one ...

I knew people cared, but I personally didn't/don't care. I had Cortex Strikes Back and played it for a while, but I was more into Mario 64 and then Banjo Kazooie. It couldn't compete with them for me.

You sound like a child. No one should care this much about a console they don't want to buy. I don't plan on buying an Xbox One (my ps4 and switch have me covered), but I don't feel the need to go on every negative Xbox article and make a fool of myself.

Probably wasn't buying it anyway. Now I definitely won't. Only chance would have been if it were on Switch so that I could help support 3rd parties on the system. Barely played the last two CoD games I bought for my ps4 anyway.

blackparade isn't saying for them to legislate over gaming but that playing some games might make them loosen up. Let them play Nintendo if that makes you feel better. Nintendo goes mostly for inoffensive fun.

Seems like some good changes. A bit concerned with how easy or hard taking/keeping a gym will be. It has to be a balance. Still, I'm glad to see these features being added. Raids, TMs, and rare candies are all great ideas. As is the gym change if it is done well.

Sweet. That should help hold over until Prime 4.

@Serv That whole direct was about games coming out this year or next. Treehouse will have other announcements (smaller obviously) like always. There is no pleasing the anti-Nintendo crowd.

@Foxtrot There's no hypocrisy on my end. The Sony and Microsoft conferences didn't have as much I'm interested in. I didn't even say Nintendo won (though between what I saw and now know is coming, I'm personally happiest after theirs). "Winning" E3 is just a ...

It's better to know that they are actually being worked on than to hear nothing about them. People want to know that the Switch is something that's being supported, and Nintendo certainly showed people that they are doing their part with that. This direct/spotlight was pretty much, "Hey, take a look at these things that are coming out soon. By the way, we're working on two titles that are highly wanted for a long time now, so you'll have things to look forward to, too.&qu...

Finally. Just knowing that this and Prime 4 are in development is significant news.

Mainline Pokemon game and Metroid Prime 4 are two major announcements that have me very excited. I'm also hyped for portable Rocket League. Mario Odyssey gameplay looks great. The Yoshi game looks like a fun platformer. Same with Kirby. I'll probably get Fire Emblem Warriors because I love Dynasty Warriors.

Very good showing for Nintendo.

3159d ago 5 agree4 disagreeView comment

Yeah, not very exciting. I hate Spider-Man, so even though I'm sure it'll be good, that's a pass. Days Gone looks good. Never played a God of War game. Don't have PSVR, but I don't feel like I need it any more now than I did before. The Detroit game I'm not sure about, but I liked Heavy Rain, so maybe. Were there any surprises?
