Meh. Hopefully the Sony conference has more from them.
I'm happy with what Fallout 76 looks to be. The ability to play it solo or with friends is nice. The C.A.M.P. idea is cool, too.
Typical clickbait headline. No one has "won" anything yet. I guarantee we see this same headline for each of Nintendo/Sony/MS several times this month.
Mainline Pokemon games come out and people complain that it's the same thing over and over. Something different comes out, and people complain. Now, I get it. I want a big, immersive Pokemon RPG, too. Pokemon has always had these different spin games though. This one just happens to be coming out before the one everyone wants (hopefully), so it's getting more negative press because of that.
They aren't contradicting themselves. Intense and immersive can still be achieved with customization and historical fiction. This is just grasping at straws for things to complain about as per usual with the gaming community.
Awesome! Hopefully the Switch won't have to wait too long for it, otherwise I'll just get it on PS4.
I enjoyed the read! I started with Red/Blue, too, and am the same age. Pokemon was everything, and I still love it. I've played each mainline iteration (except HeartGold/SoulSilver, which I'm still kicking myself for skipping), the Pokemon Stadium games, Pokemon Snap, Hey You Pikachu, etc. Of course collected the cards. When Pokemon Go came out and everyone was obsessed again, that was a blast. Can't imagine myself ever not loving the series!
Didn't get it for ps4, and I probably won't get it for the switch. Played crash some as a kid, but I was never that into it.
Yeah, this list is trash. Rankings are obviously subjective, but it always seems like websites try to be edgy or controversial with Final Fantasy rankings.
I'm on a college campus, and I see Switches pretty regularly in common areas.
I don't own an Xbox One, but this game looks fun to me. *shrug*
I bought it, played it a couple of times, and haven't even thought about it in months. Just feels kind of empty or soulless I guess? Idk how to explain it, but I just don't have much fun with the game.
Obviously Sony shouldn't ignore Nintendo. They're smart enough not to do so. I do think the two have fairly complimentary systems right now though. Sure, there's a lot of overlap in their markets, but they have different selling points that I don't think either company needs to chase one another on.
The different models and half gen upgrades certainly add to people willing and able to sell back their consoles.
I bought it, but not the first week :P
Getting this for sure. One of my favorite games on PS4.
Can't wait to play this. What an awesome year for games.
It'd have to be a pretty great game for me to buy something he's selling.
Nintendo and Sony are both having great years. Nintendo's is a bit more unexpected (at least for a lot of people), so I give them a little bit of an edge. The new console launch could have been bad after what the wii u was, so to do as well as they're doing is definitely a win. That's no knock on Sony either, so have put out a ton of great and successful games this year. Microsoft hasn't done much yet, but they always seem to end things for the fourth quarter, so theirs is TBD...
TLOU2 looked very good. This format is weird though.
