@Krangs There's a difference between an apologist and a fan though. As a big Pokemon fan, I want a review from someone that I know cares about and appreciates the series. In many ways, that can lead to more meaningful insight. Also, you then avoid reviewers who aren't keen on the series. Pokemon has been around for so long that most people have an opinion on it. This goes with any long-standing series with iterations that build off of one another. If they aren't big on the core ga...
But if that were the score on a Death Stranding review, the reviewer would be being praised for appreciating a game that others are needlessly hating on.
Hopefully developers do a better job implementing these controller features than they did with the touch pad. Seems like they'll have to with the haptic feedback at least.
It was definitely filled with a lot of content, so that's nice. Many of the games looked good.
I hate Hockey Ultimate Team anyway. They try to push it in EASHL sometimes by giving you random packs, but I have no interest.
Bulbasaur. Love the design, the evolutions, and he was my first Pokemon.
A website publishing a video game article with a controversial, clickbait headline? :O
Imagine being someone who uses the words cucked and gynocracy. The amount of self-pitying mental gymnastics that incels go through is crazy.
Glad to see a Judah and the Lion track
It might be successful at that price, but I'll wait for a price drop or a great bundle at that level.
@snookies in a game where I already felt the story was weak, having so many hunts that were independent of the story just diluted it even more imo.
Same. I hated the story unfortunately. It wasn't engaging or interesting at all. The characters were largely boring. Wasn't a fan of the gambit and hunt systems either. I really wanted to like it and gave it several tries, but I just couldn't.
It's still one of my favorites. It had some really great games and was a big part of my childhood.
Don't get me wrong, I'm almost assuredly getting the PS5, but...
"It's not just a bunch of upgrades." and then lists a bunch of power, visual, and audio upgrades upgrades.
Modern capitalism
@S2Killinit That's not exactly how that works. The only reason you'd be more likely to randomly select a casual gamer in the population of online PS4 players is because there's a greater proportion (not raw number) of casual players in the total population of online PS4 players. In that case (i.e. PS4 having a higher percentage of casual players online than XBox does), you could make the argument that XBox has higher skilled players, but it wouldn't really be a strong argument...
Is 1.4M bad for 2 days? I honestly don't know. And does that include all of the ridiculous alternate versions that released early?
Either way, I bought the game, and I like it. It needs more maps for sure, and I think they could/should have included the future free DLC with the release, but it's still a good FPS even if it is EA.
Yup. Nothing wrong with the game except for the lack of content that we'll be getting for free anyway. I've been having fun playing it a few times a week and alternating it with Smash and Fallout.
I have both, and I like playing both. Obviously neither game is perfect, but the gaming community makes bigger issues out of things than they really are. I'm not going to spend any money on micro transactions, and the bugs in Fallout are annoying when they crash my game. Both games still manage to deliver the core experiences that I seek in them (and with BF5 especially, I really don't understand the hate at all as the game and gameplay are good). I trust that Bethesda will continue t...
Whenever a new gen is coming out, they show off what it can do with racing games. Most games aren't going to look as good as a racing game, so I put extremely little weight on things like this.
