I don't care about Maxim review I just don't want that stupid review to bring down Killzone 2 metacritic average.
Well if give or take the difference between xbox360 and PS3 is around 8 million (I may be wrong I am not sure). So even if PS3 reduces that lead by 2 million each year, they will eventually equal to 360 in 4 years time. Which means 6 years have passed in PS3 lifecycle and its install base is equal to that of xbox360 and then it starts gaining the lead. Which is not bad since PS3 still has four more years to go. But it will be interesting where 360 stands after 4 years.

I am not sure if Killzone 2 is on dual or single bluray but it still at the very minimum require 25gb:p
I don't think xbox360 can run Killzone 2. Its my opinion and I am basing it on the fact that in 3-3.5 years of xbox360 life cycle none of the games on xbox360 does what Killzone 2 is doing in terms of technology. Gears 2 looks great but it can't touch the textures and animations of Uncharted 1 and the cinematic feel of MGS4. Props to GG, I am impressed by the extent of back story they have provided for this game & the amount of detail is insane. It will interesting how all this translates into game's story. I am pretty sure they have done a great job with the story & this may be the best shooter game story we will ever get I guess.
Interesting approach. Its good they are supporting 3rd party in some ways. All they need to do now is put some of there own experts to help the team making Quantum Theory and if it turns out well and it sells well then most probably more developers will be willing to bring exclusives to PS3.

Yeah on most spot they have. I mean the gun model, the amount of stuff happening on screen, Helghast models, and the lightening surpasses the CGI trailer. The animation is on par with that trailer. The smoke effects in my opinion are closer to the CGI but no way better. The fire effects looks much more realistic than the CGI one.

Halo 3 marketing was once a generation marketing. I don't think we will see that kind of marketing for any other game, not atleast in this generation of consoles. Microsoft didn't push the same kind of marketing with Gears 2. I remember the Halo 3 launch days, everyone in my university knew Halo 3 was coming, even my professor knew some thing called Halo 3 is gonna be released. They didn't knew what xbox360 was but they knew Halo 3 is some game.

I think if sony just let the small gameplay videos rolling on the TV, I think it will more than enough, watching Killzone 2, Uncharted, Ratchet, Heavenly Swords, Resistance 2, MGS4, Heavy Rain and GT5 Prologue will be more than enough to justify its price along with Bluray trailers of movies will be a added bonus.

I fell in love with F.E.A.R. AI, it was just too damn good. IMO the only two games that rival it was Halo 3 and Uncharted. Now from the latest videos I have seen I guess Killzone 2 AI will give it a run for its money.
