I guess it has become a norm for games to be shorter. It's unfortunate but it's true. It has nothing to do with 360 or anyother hardware. Developers just have found out that people will buy a game even if it's 6 hours long. I know game development is expensive but come on I pay 100-120 Australian Dollars for a 8 hour video game?

Crysis and Uncharted are two very different games. I mean they are way too different. Beauty is a very context dependent term. You can't call urban wasteland of Killzone 2 beautiful in respect to beauty but in terms of sheer technical achievement killzone 2 is a beast. Yeah Uncharted 2 will be the most beautiful looking game. Killzone 2 is more of an technical feast. I mean Uncharted 1 still looks amazing even compared to games like Gears 2 and MGS4. But for me Uncharted wasn't just jaw dropping visuals, for me it was the gameplay and uncharted's pacing and its story. The game nailed every aspect there is for a videogame.
I OWN a PS3 and I can tell you it plays way differently/better than anyother shooter out there. Play it once & then play COD4, you will feel the difference;). Never rely on other people words;)
The biggest issue with One Console Era is that there will be no more competition and with no competition there won't be any innovation or strive for better hardware etc. etc.
Its the competition that makes things better. Consider the fact the way Sony entered this generation with all the arrogance they had, if it weren't for Microsoft, PS3 would have been a very different machine & look at it now 2 years down the road.

Actually ppl do announce there games at GDC, MSFT announced Gears 2 on GDC08, Sony announced Home & I may be wrong but I think LBP was also announced at GDC.
Have you played Killzone Liberation? If not then you definitely should. It is one of the best games on PSP. It is just awesome. I really want another Killzone on PSP but I think Sony Bend studio should make it and let GG work on Killzone 3 or a new PS3 title.

By not handled well means, the whole mods concept was cool, but downloading a mod on PC copying it to a usb in a stupidly named folder and then importing it in the game & I can't remember and I may be wrong but I think you could add only one mod at a time, so it was really a chore. They should have the mod browser support from day 1 or should have been patched long time ago. The game came out around Nov./Dec of 2007. so yeah thats what I mean by not handling well.
Does anyone play this game anymore? I used to play it a lot back when it was released but then moved on to other games. The mod thing was pretty, wasn't handled well by the devs. I will give this game another go just for trophies.

Microsoft probably will announce a couple of more games this year E3. I am pretty sure Forza 3 will be one of them. Alan Awake and MassEffect 2 has a decent chance of coming out this year as well. There is another good looking shooter called WarHound that was announced a while back. I hope MSFT does a better job at exclusives this year then it did last year. While I throughly enjoyed Gears 2 and Fable 2 the rest of the year was totally barren.

I don't think anyone really hated the demo. People complaining about its length are odd because thats how every other demo out there is. Plus it was the same level we have seen in videos for the past one year or soo. Plus the complain about the control scheme is really odd because it took around 5 min to get used to the controls thats it. They weren't like RE5 controls, they were pretty straight forward.

I hope they provide a separate but more story oriented campaign designed specifically for coop, something like R2 but more story focused and not just MMO style level grinding. :D

I partially agree with you. There aren't any good survival horror games this generation except for Dead Space. People expecting RE5 to change that will be disappointed by the new direction (again I may be wrong, since I haven't played the full game, but its hard to imagine being scared when you are in broad day light with a buddy). Dead Space in my opinion will keep the crown for a bit longer.
