Yes in terms of facial and character animations, water etc. effects will look better than Killzone 2. But I doubt they will be able to out do Killzone 2 light effect. Plus you have to give credit to Killzone 2, with soo much stuff happening on screen and maintaining the visual fidelity, I doubt any game will be able to pull off the same feat anytime soon.
A bit disappointed by the CGI teaser, would have been better if they had shown some gameplay. Snow would be nice, lets see how the game turns out to be, the first Bad Company was awesome. Gamepro said it looks on par with Killzone 2, only time will tell.
I didn't mind the elevator ride, but one of the annoying thing was that you can't really do during those elevator rides, I mean if you open up your inventory the elevator section won't move ahead. Secondly I doubt they will be able to fix the streaming issue, since it's the engine's flaw rather than devs issue. I mean Gears 1, Gears 2, and UT3 all had the slow streaming textures. Why don't we all wait till E3 and see whats announced rather than chewing each other head off. It will be pretty amusing and disheartening at the same time, if Kojima San walked the stage like Wada did on MSFT keynote and said MGS5 coming to 360 & again that will be a major announcement for 360 that a ps3 exclusive is now a multiplatform title. Because for the last few E3s microsoft major announcement always rotates around ps3 exclusives gone multiplatform.
So how many exclusives for 2009? WOW the list is growing, I mean we have Uncharted 2, Ratchet TOD2, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and with MAG, GOW3 and GT5 to release most probably early next year. Thats alot of exclusives. Plus R3 is in the pipelines and a couple of unannounced titles. I am sure we will hear about TeamICO game at E3 or TGS09.

I wasn't sure about this game, but its on my must buy list since I saw the Music Trailer. I mean that slow mo trailer sold the game for me, they should use that as the commercial. Killzone 2 is epic, it really is an amazing game, from visuals to character animation to every little detail. But it was the enemy AI that impressed me the most. It was absolutely amazing. No matter how many times I have played this game, the enemy AI was just amazing.

I agree with the loading and texture streaming issue, but the bugs and glitches are not engines fault it is the devs fault. As far as streaming texture goes they really need to fix that, it was way too bad for a game of Gears 2 quality, even after you install the game on 360 hard drive.
You can't blame the engine for it. Mirror's Edge, BioShock & MassEffect all had there unique art style & looks. It's all upto the devs. The devs are lazy and have been over crowding the shooter genre with lame titles. Consider this for example Ratchet & Resistance both run on the same engine, both are developed by the same devs and I am pretty sure the Art teams is the same as well but the look completely different. Why? Because Insomniac is not some lazy developer.
Mate, you have to play God of War 1 & 2, seriously it is one of the best games of all time. The best looking game on ps2. One of the best stories ever told in a video game. Kratos is the most badass character in the history of entertainment. :D You have to play GOW 1 & 2

Ok I am not a single console fan, i own both consoles & I was pretty disappointed with 360's 2008 lineup. Just because 360 had a good 2007 doesn't mean they have a free pass and ps3 can't. I still don't ps3 had such a bad 2007. They had Heavenly Swords (Good game, but too too short), Ratchet, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Uncharted (which is one of the most fun ps3 game).
