Anyone care to do the math and figure out about how much 60% of xb360 sales were at 5-6 months after launch?
Knack has also sold over 1million. All three should easily account for 1/4 of those 20 million.
Fiscally speaking, no game is worth the price tag since they are basically given away when they get old. But if we all thought like that, then we would still be mowing through games two or three generations old.
So it all comes down to "is it worth it to you, personally, right now?"
For me the answer is yes, since I've never played it on the ps3.
I would hope so. It's been awhile since we've seen footage. RAD is a capable studio by themselves but they are also being helped by SSM. I expect quality come release.
It's finally here :)
I had so much fun on the beta.
I think it is well written but poorly thought out. I came away with the impression that Sony should stop focusing on first party games and invest in third party. I agree that they should not allow major third party games such as Titanfall to go exclusive but other than that, I don't see how they would benefit from pushing third parties as hard as Microsoft. Sony's first party games' diversity is what sets them apart from other companies. They rarely milk a franchise but instead op...
To be honest, I don't know if a year is enough to catch up to even what 2k14 offers. Maybe a couple of seasons and we will truly be able to see their progress. But the sad thing is that 2k will be getting better at the same time.
The parkour in the next AC will be top notch with la flair on board.
"In terms of the actual gameplay, I was only able to compete head-to-head and against the CPU (online isn’t ready yet),"
Glad to hear they are improving the online. Reviews say its the only thing holding the ps3 version back.
Not only 360-ps4 converts but a majority of ps3 owners in general(like myself) never pulled the trigger on TLOU. Its an excellent game that deserves the next gen treatment and then be available to more playstation owners.
I ,for one, have never bought or played the The Last Of Us. This is a bargain for me and a great addition to my ps4's library.
I don't always buy baseball games, but when I do it's MLB 14 The Show on PS4.
~Most Interesting Man In The World~
Pre final fantasy x remasteres still pull a lot of sales weight even 10+ years later. Could means Square might be more open to more of them?
The report from Sony at the end of the fiscal year will be interesting.
Impulse buy.
It may not be garbage, but it definitely does not represent how good a game it is. Personally I feel that it's the best AAA game on the ps4 right now. Once I picked up the controller I couldn't put it down. The powers, acting, story, and gameplay are all steps up from the previous games, which ended up with a 83 and 85 on metacritic.
Fair, level-headed article.
It's March Madness!
So far the AAA Playstation exclusives have been killing it. Killzone with 2m+, knack 1m+, and now Infamous with 1m prior to release.
On top of that they are shipping 400k more consoles worldwide. Sony must really be going for that 7million mark before March 31st.
"Sold-In" numbers have more to do with production than anything. If Microsoft had produced 10 million consoles up to this point and sold them to retailers, this number could be 10 million instead of 5.
With their logic the wii u is the best selling console on the market, since they've shipped more than twice the amount of wii u's as Microsoft has xbox one's
So technically xbox one has not officially sold 5 million consoles. Just shipped ...
