I want this game.
I don't doubt what you are saying. But after owning/using both sets, I can tell you that the directional sound of the AX 720s is more accurate. I was a bit surprised myself but I found out that I wasn't the only one who noticed the difference.
There is no 'guessing' in simulated 5.1 simply because the received signal is true 5.1. Instead of amplifying each individual channel, the processor uses delay cues similar to how the brain uses delay cues to simulate su...
I own both. The AX 720 provides better directional sound. The AX Pros don't work as well simply because the separate speakers are all clumped together and not spaced apart far enough.
People who think it's impossible to detect 5.1 surround sound with just two speakers don't understand how our hearing works. We detect surround sound in real life based on two ears, not five ears. This happens because of timing differences as well as other complicated processes in th...
Why can't we have multiplayer maps based on the actual single player campaign? These locations are the most random spots to include in DLC. Whatever happened to DC? The prison? The oil rig?
No, instead they randomly add maps that have nothing to do with anything with the game.
I don't get it. I've played a lot of games on the Wii and I don't find them to be that great. And the majority of them get boring in less than a week, yet they all get perfect scores. Go figure.
They're a couple of Conquest maps with Squad Deathmatch and Squad Rush added to them. If you go to the EA store inside Bad Company 2, that's the description of the upcoming maps provided by EA.
5th post of the same review that's 1 week old.
Disagree with MEW. The online system was totally overhauled. It's easy to speculate from the chair. I actually own the game and it's a completely different experience from the original SF4. I agree that fixes to character balancing and character additions could have been patched. But the entire online network completely changed. It's like they added a whole new game.
This is like the 4th post of this exact same review that is already 1 week old. What gives?
I don't get these reviews. Loading times aside, some reviews say the gameplay is not magical and basic. While other reviews say that the driving mechanics has more depth and appeals more to the hardcore than the casual cart racer (Mario). So what gives? Seems like the sites that dismiss Modnation racers as another basic cart racer didn't spend enough time with it.
I disagree. The new Super Street Fighter 4 was totally worth it for $40. The character rebalancing, new characters, and a complete online overhaul are all absolutely great. There's a reason why all the reviews gave the new game a high score and not dock points off as a 'DLC'.
I was supportive of EA offering free DLC to those who buy their games brand new (ie Bad Company 2). I am NOT supportive of this new policy at all because it kills the game rental industry if I just want to play a particular game for just one weekend. Limit free DLC? sure. Limit online play? Forget it.
EA is starting to show its true colors, again.
No, they will give us 5 completely new maps but charge $20 for it... that's my guess. Absolutely lame but it's Activision we're talking about.
What does that video have anything to do with the title/article?
It's not against the law and you weren't required to download it. If you're using Linux, you have no reason to be on PSN.
This list is epic fail because it didn't include CALL OF DUTY: Black Ops!

Great time to own a PS3.
The game looks awesome but they do need to patch the long loading times. The only acceptable long loading time to me would be right before the race when everyone is downloading the user-created level/map/track. There's no other reason why a game with simple, yet stylish graphics should take this long when LBP looked just as good and loaded in much less time.
Regardless I'm getting this game. I hope they will patch it soon, but it doesn't break the game.
I swear to god these European reviewers have such weird tastes and standards. I think the only thing they give high marks for are FPS / Halo-clone games.
I honestly hope that all these greedy lawsuits will fall FLAT on their faces and lose in the courts. It's as if these consumers are suddenly deciding to punish the PS3 for becoming huge in the last 2 years.
Those who were using their PS3s for supercomputing purposes had absolutely no reason to MANUALLY download and upgrade the firmware that was released for purely GAMING purposes on PSN.
I'd rather go for Amazon's $20. Toys R Us charges tax, so that $5 is almost negligible.
