Apparently IGN editors (the title 'editor' seems to be diluted because everyone at IGN seems to be an editor) didn't play the first and second God of War in order to appreciate why Kratos is so angry. He has every reason to be! I would discuss details but that would ruin the story of the first two God of Wars in case people haven't finished them.
I hate reviews that pretty much tell the entire story of the game. This is one of them.

Gamestop's business in the used market will not be affected. The problem for gamers is that they don't know what else to do with their games once they've thoroughly finished them. So they end up trading in 4 of their old games just to get a new game. This is unfortunate because Gamestop sells used games for pretty high prices but you get next to nothing when you trade them in.
I get kinda annoyed that this franchise has such a long delay with releases outside of Japan.
After playing BC2 on PS3 and PC, I prefer it on PC. The controls are a bit too heavy on the consoles in my opinion. I didn't mind Killzone's heavy controls, but I thought BC2 was a little too annoying. My only gripe with BC2 other than the controls on the consoles (not a problem on PC) is the overpowered snipers. Everyone ends up camping with snipers everywhere.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first one. Can't say the same about the second. HOpefully they'll step up their game with the 3rd.

This article was written incorrectly. It's 4 for the price of 3, not 3 for the price of 4! You're getting 4 copies for $150, which is how much 3 copies would cost!
At least 300,000 people still play this everyday at any moment on the PS3. The DLC is going to cost $15 and it will include:
3 new maps
2 revamped maps from MW1
2 maps for zombie mode
Three people disagreed with me but nobody explained why. I'd like to know why because I am open to admitting that I'm wrong, so I'd love to hear your comments and opinions on how the retail game is any different than the beta other than graphics.
I thought it was just like the beta except improved graphics. It was fun the first 30 hours and then quickly got repetitive. I got tired attacking/defending the same maps. They really need to have new maps instead of gadgets/weapons.
Same here. The delays bother me, but I really want this game. It will be very unique among the generic shooters we already have.
Omega that makes absolutely no sense. That's equivalent as saying Microsoft launched the 360 one year too early, giving Sony the upper hand with the PS3. Obviously the one year head start did great things for Microsoft.

I'd like cross game chat. I play a lot of non-competitive gaming that I wouldn't mind chatting in the background with a friend who is also just chilling with a casual game.
I'd also like more splitscreen games from Sony's first party studios.

I'm pretty sure Microsoft will get Natal up and running, but at what cost? Natal games are probably going to look like outdated Wii games with cartoon colors.
I don't think Uncharted 2 is the greatest game this generation. I thought it was MGS4. As much as I like Drake, Solid Snake will win any day.
