im a HUGE bball fan. mos def. getting this game on the 25th.
why is this in the ps3 section? it isn't comming out for the ps3.
i don't see ps3's free online services to ever match up with live's. i would rather pay $30(walmart) for live.
the difference:
"In its current configuration, most Xbox Live content is routed through Microsoft's Xbox Live servers. For the Xbox Live launch in 2002, Microsoft installed massive arrays of servers in four locations in the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom. The network costs alone were estimated at $500 million [ref]. The servers are physically s...
if this game plays anywhere as fun as flatout 2 then im probably going to have to snatch a copy
yeah. cgi hype worked for killzone, why wouldn't it for 360?
you work with lightwave? that's cool. i work with 3dmax and softimage.
but anyways, you're changing your story. you said more "polygons" can lead to more space, which is partly true, but not 10gb+ true. rigging/animation information does not take up a lot of space. variety of objects in the game? take a look at oblivion/world of warcraft/just cause/crackdown/ANY MMORPGS out there which surpasses the amount of content of resistance. please note that none of these game...
"more polygons mean more space" yes but a more complex models doesn't equate to 10gb+ in size. please make sure you know what you're talking about before you post it.
another point you made was the in-game cut-scenes. well just read this: http://ps2.boomtown.net/en_...
on the bottom states: "Take away HD cutscenes and uncompressed sound and textures how much...
you don't need Bluray for any of that
extra .. content? what?
looking forward to this game. i hope this is fake 'cause those screenshots look nasty
yes. it isn't a ps3 exclusive anymore so the game isn't that great all of a sudden.
i bet half of what makes up for the 20gb is putting all the different countries' versions and languages on a single disk(ps3 is region free), and the hd cgi (you can save a lot of space using in-game cutscenes you know).
so why wouldn't this game be possible for a dvd 9? what's so special about it? the uncompressed textures? it doesn't even look better than GOW or some of the high end PC games that'll come on DVD9's. this is useless pr for bluray.
blah. compressed/u...
i don't know what some of you are talking about. forza was more of a sim than gt was. its mentioned in so many reviews.
"Forza is a force to be reckoned with, out-maneuvering GT4 in several respects, and beating out everything else in the sim department on Xbox, straight out." - IGN
"The cars themselves handle like the way they're supposed to because the Forza team built a sim on top of a physics engine crunching more numbers and formulas than any ...
just look at the bluray/HDDVD reviews man. google it up. HDDVD movies are getting better reviews than the blurays
actually, by the wait, i was talking about a 12 month wait. not 2. twelve
there's a lot of soccer fans out there who isn't willing to wait a year for a next gen soccer game. i think this will help boost xbox 360 sales.
question: is madden or any of the nba games comming out on ps3 this year?
what better way to compare consoles than through screenshots?

ps3/xbox360 FEAR. judge for yourself
it would be all over the forums is this was that serious:
http://boards.gamefaqs.com/...
it's not. as you can see.
i think you're the one whos biased.
these are the types of advances i look forward to. if only lucasarts were nice enough to share the tech.
^ no i think it just means you can play hd-dvd movies on a regular dvd player (still wouldn't be in hi-def unless you upgrade your player)
