sony already stated that every ps3 game, 9gb+ or not, will be on bluray
and i don't know where your getting your facts from but 3-4 dvd's would still cost less to produce over bluray. on top of that, the consumers are the ones paying extra money (bluray drive) just so the games you play won't be on 2 disks

people have been playing at an even higher resolution than 1080p on PC's genius (DVD GAMES). it's called using in-game cinematics over CGI

how exactly is it possible for a console (360 in this case) to play catch up to an unreleased console? if anything, ps3 has to catch up to a whole year worth of 360 sales
how does this work with people who don't have internet connection (though i think it's highly unlikely that someone with a 1080p tv wouldn't)? would the firmware update be in the dvd game itself? i hope it improves on framerate or something for people who do use 720p over 1080p.

well, it just goes to show what platform has the more dedicated online service, whether YOU think its a good game or not. so what if you don't think it'll be fun online? i don't play TH anymore either but thats not the point. there's still a lot of fans out there who do care about online play.
sony online is supposed to be a live killer but i don't see it going anywhere near as successful as live. probably going to be just like ps2's free service all over again.
