i keep reading "flatout 1." makes me wonder, has anyone here played flatout 2? it was so much better than 1.
me too. i had so much fun with flatout 2 on xbox. played like a cross between burnout/motorstorm and IMO, had the best car crashes for racing games

1. no one has ever won 3 generations in a row.
2. no one has ever won without being the first to sell 10,000 consoles.
what you say doesn't really mean as much now since the us/eu market has gotten bigger and more profitable. the gaming world doesn't just revolve around japan.
you shouldn't tell people to study the history of games and not know half the story yourself.

would it be that hard to just include a choice in the options menu to either make the fonts big or small for either sdtv or hdtv users?

not everyone bought their hdtv's within the past 2-3 years and at the time, they probably wanted to spend hundreds to a thousand dollars by going with the 1080i hdtv.
anyways. i thought it was weird for the ps3 to have this issue. i thought hd-gaming didn't start 'till the ps3 comes out according to sony.
exactly what i was thinking. why would you even compare ridge racer SIX to ridge racer SEVEN? i'm pretty sure if RR7 was to come out on the 360 this november that it TOO would look better than LAST YEAR's version.
aside from the graphics, i don't see what the hype is about. i think i would have liked this game a little better if it had some realism to it. the dude was forever sidestepping and getting hit by a bagillion bullets in the process. no need to take cover if you're that tough i guess.

yeah that is sad. i think they should just give up in Japan if bluedragon/lo/trustybell/etc fails to help 360 sales in the future
