im planning on getting it. i heard the same thing from other people but they all said it was because PGR came before it (software update came later to implement wheel use rather than building the game with the wheel at hand)

wouldn't be that retarded. FF1 through FF6 was on a nintendo platform that then switched to Sony: FF7 through FF13.

hmm. well to answer your question there is... halo 3, gow, alan wake, blue dragon, eternal sonata, forza 2, pgr, mass effect, too human, shadowrun, viva pinata, lost odyssey, dead rising, lost planet, ninja gaiden 2, etc etc. off the top of my head.
thats more than "nothing" to a lot of people.

i like live for the fact that its more reliable. live users are still able to play games that are half a decade old. psn can't guarantee that. someone correct me if im wrong but didn't they shut down the mgs servers? on top of that, developers are more likely to include online play with the 360 more than psn. you also see multiplatform games now that only has 360 with online play.

oh come on shadowflare guy, we've heard and read about how difficult it is to program for the ps3 numerous times from different developers already. i don't think they have to write a whole game to understand it, just the concept of how it works.
why are people on here calling programmers lazy? you have any idea how hard it is to program? as a former compsci major student, ill just tell you it is.
i use tools/softwares as a digital-painter. even though i can use MS-Paint to do my work, why use it when its so much easier with photoshop/corel painter? am i lazy for using the right tools that make it easier for me?

No offline multiplayer, 8 Tracks, lack of single player modes...
PGR last year was released and got a score less than a point higher. PGR3 had more tracks, more cars, more offline modes, more online modes.
depth in racing games will get you a higher score and motorstorm lacks it. you're making it sound like it got a low score ONLY because of how short it is.
dont get me wrong, if you give me split screen and more modes, this game would have deserve...
i would get a ps3 for this game. only complaint i have, and its a big complaint, is the lack of freakin' split screen. i can't remember the last racing game i couldn't play with another friend in the same room.

for 8 hdtv's you would need 8 xbox 360's as well(system link). i don't see anyone going as far as 8, maybe 3 at most. even then, because of the expense, i would guess only a few rich/hardcore fans would try setting up 3 hdtv/360's for a single racing game.
anywhos, can't wait for this game to come out. the graphics aren't as good as GT, but from how dedicated they were with the physics/AI/online, it would more than make up for it IMO. gameplay > graphics.
how could anyone defend sony on this? kotaku did what any journalist should do, report the news(good or bad). that to me is good journalism.

i think its the way the poster titled it. it kinda instigated it.
not once did the article mention "More PS3's in 2 Days Than Xbox360's in A Month," those are the posters own words. it could have been titled "ps3 sold 600,000 in its first 2 days," or could have even used the title of the article "Sony’s PS3 has record launch in Europe."
whoever accepts these news posts should atleast check for flaimbait edits.
