Nah. I'm on act 3, level 40 and I haven't felt the need to redo anything in order to progress so far. I'm sure it'll happen at some point in the end game but so far it's been fine. I can understand why some might feel that way though. The bosses are difficult--it is an option to make it easier via leveling/upgrading(grinding) beyond the recommended level for it

Respectfully disagree on a few of your points
- disagree on "Focus on conquest mode" only because I'm a big Rush fan
- "Smaller teams" One of BF's fortes is its scale. I'm guessing its why you also want smaller maps
They're not "major" problems IMO. They're inconvenient but hardly enough to justify "they just don't give a shit." Specially since they've added so much to the game since release. I think it's fine if the additions/changes are criticized since that part's subjective but I can't agree that they didn't care/put effort after all these years
@welshy Could it be the lack of experience with the new changes? because a lot of what you mentioned isn't that unmanageable once you've learned how to deal with them

@logicwins Or maybe some just have a different preference than you including devs who may have said preference. Red Dead Redemption 2 for ex. wouldn't look as beautiful as it does and I wouldn't trade that for the extra fps
I agree with the options & I do prefer 60fps for most games. Though I don't see the point in arguing either way as it is subjective. Some(I'd guess most) prefer better visual aesthetics over having 60fps. I can relate to both sides
