Game partnership are not the same as a company merging together to build a game platform.

That was the case with Sony and Nintendo. Can you imagine how hard it would be to maintain a joint partnership with two major company for the entire lifespan of a console, which is about 10 years long.

That's wonderful news.

Seeing how many failed attempt Nintendo has tried to partner with other companies tell me Nintendo has finally opened up a bit.

as I recall, Nintendo have tired to partner with Sony but it didn't work out as planed because Nintendo has really strong views.

I guessing the mystery Big Third-Party might be Sega or namco.

Can't wait to see what Square Enix has in store at e3.

Has anyone seen the mech Square Enix game?

I saw it on you tube two days ago, and then hours later that day the video was flagged for copyright infringement.

What I saw in the Square Enix Mech demo looked amazing.

This year is the year of the heavy hitter titles.
With VR finally getting off the ground, all publishers are going to have push little harder and put games out on the market that they think could survive during the VR hype.

So, Expect to see more of the heavy hitter titles to come out in the first quarter of 2016.

I'm pretty sure Platinum have used mocap many times in their game.

However, the key framing they used to animate in a scene, can be compared to Japanese cartoons.

They used about 3-8 frames to accomplish fast movement with foreshortening animations.

Watch a Japanese cartoon animation in slow motion you'll see what I'm taking about. And then watch some vidz of Bayonetta on you tube you'll see some similarity in animation.

I'm speaking from experience buddy. I'm a 2-d and 3-d animator. I have a BA in animation.

what experience do you have?

If you want u can look up some of my artwork online.

I think its metriod. Why else would Nintendo push Zelda wii U back some, unless there's another game of the same caliber coming out this year for the wii U.

Platinum are Gods like naughty dog. The only difference I see between them both, Platinum seem to have some serious 2-d animation skills under their belts. Not that ND can't do good animation, it seem they mocap most of their stuff for what I tell.

I'm willing to bet the Platinum team were onc...

Yeah, I would be very surprised.

I can see Platinum making a game like blood borne for the x1.

I see a pattern.

R@D open up a 2nd studio - with what money? maybe with Amazon's money.

Plus, Just recently, Amazon has revealed to gaming public that they're opening up a game studio of their own- for what?
It can't be for any of their existing gaming machine. Why would they? unless it's for something entirely new.

So, its a high probability that Amazon are going to have their very own VR headset out soon, to fall in ...

additional unannounced platform?

Mmmm, what best way to experience a true cinematic game.

Sound like R@D are interested in VR platforms.

Well said my friend.

To add to that, Both MS/SONY are currently using an API that works in a similar way, meaning all the processing n calculation are done serially, from one core to the next. Meaning that each core has to wait in line to get instruction from the CPU. With this in mind, it clearly shows that the PS4 hardware will have a huge win over MS's x1 hardware being that the API they're using right now isn't so demanding on high number of draw calls.

If you remember there were about two type of games that couldn't run 1080p@ 60fps on the x1 hardware.

1. Extreme Graphically intensive games.

2. Graphically fast paced games with above average visuals. Trials Fusion is one of them.

So, in my mind, F6 shouldn't have happened in the first place, especially with all the Esram issue MS has been having with the x1 since launch.

Though, Its obliviously clear that DX12 is be...

How well does it run? Do You hear that sound?

Its all x1's cores sizzling inside the casing.

No need to explain any further you get the idea.

Partial Dx12, not full dx12.

Wow, can you imagine a game using full Dx12.

4034d ago 9 agree8 disagreeView comment

The way F6 look visually its obvious this game is using DX12. Partial DX12, not full dx12.

Man, I bet the sense of speed in F6 is going to be amazing, cant wait to see more.

Hey, F6 actually look really good.

Wow, the lighting effects in F6 looks better than project cars lighting effects.

well, I guess there's one thing we all can agree on...The X1 can now do 1080p at 60fps with ease.

Does Anyone know F6 frame rate are locked at 60fps?

F4 graphic look great to me.
However, I'm a little concern with the amount of visual effect this game will have being that its ruining on an old gamebryo game engine.

I don't know about you guys but I'm having such a hard time liking a game that doesn't have lots of visual effects.

I came to this conclusion today when I saw the batman trailer for the PC with nvidia effects. watching this trailer made me a little jealous of the PC.
