I can't believe you have a disagree. You're speaking logically. Nintendo's is likely to stick to their low cost policy no matter what they make hardware wise. The fact that someone disagreed you Goes to show that gamers don't know anything about hardware or software, or Nintendo history.
Mufi-threaded software like DX12 makes VR a bit more affordable because the gpu/cpu cores utilization aren't wasted like before.
That might be true but if you're a tech like me you would know that it didn't take hackers very long to hack the wii U hardware.
That alone is what opened me up to a few possibilities....
First, android OS is an open source software which make it easy to hack.

Personally speaking, it wasn't a fair fight to begin with because ps4 api was already close to the metal while MS was putting the finishing touches on their new api for the x1 hardware. How do I know this is because x1 hardware wasn't capable of doing asynchronous rendering like the ps4. Ok, Now that the x1 has a new api coming out soon it can do asynchronous rendering.So, You see the PS4 had a huge head start on the software/api side of things.

If there's one thing most of you should remember about the industry is that most company(if not all) have changed their buying & acquisition method of operation.
That said, they buy products that can make money on many avenue. Mine craft is a perfect product example because it has a good n strong fan base. Older gamers love it and so does younger gamers. The possibilities are endless for mine craft. Toys etc.

Not to be so negative...most current gen games just feel last gen to me because the pacing of the game are too slow and the play mechanic are too simple imo.

DX12 is turning out to be a winner. MS has two car games already out for the x1 and a third game will be released soon(F6 apparently)
And, Project cars devs are making some strides with DX12. That's awesome.
This proves to me that MS game making speed can't be matched. No more one month game releases for the x1 it seems. 2015 - 2016 is going to be a great year for x1 owners.

X1 cpu actually performs better than ps4's
Good call. The CPU itself plays a big role in making multithreading processes to function more efficiently when DX12 is added to the equation.
The faster the CPU(with DX12) the better the multithreading process will be between hardware components.
I/m really excited to see scalebound because its from platinum studio.
Most of their games(if not all) has really good animation. Its like they were once Japanese 2-d animators.
