I hope Ashen plays like warframe.
Not interested. I've been burned by Atari many times in the past.Do yall remember the Atari Jaguar? It was a complete failure. And yes, their next machine will fail just like the Jaguar.
I don't really care for Native 4k unless a console is capable of processing it with ease.IMO, Graphic fidelity is way better than having high res graphics. Anthem is a prime example. I think Bio/MS wanted 4 players on screen with very detailed graphics. That wouldn't have been possible if Bio produces Anthem with Native 4k assets.
That might be possible to match high-end PC with using tools such as the PIX tool.
I do see the improvements. The extra added effects, lighting, dark shadows, and improved draw distance turned gears into a masterpiece. I can't wait to see more.
We already know what the xb1x can do. Let's here more about the xb1x dev tool.
Atari HA.
Agreed. The ME demo seems to be running on PC. The camera works were prescripted.
Forza 7 looks great in all. But the problem I have with F7 is that the color gamut should have been increased. The xb1x is more than capable of achieving that.
Both images look the same to me. However, I think xb1x has better dark shadows than ps pro version.
The xb1x is for me.

I agree that all Consoles are basically just PC's now using x86 architecture. Which in my opinion is a great thing. Engine developers can optimize and iterate much faster.
But keep in mind that all gaming console aren't created equal. The XBIX, for one, has an investigator tool to seek out all the bottlenecks. This tool makes the development of games much faster than any other console.
From the article:
I would firmly say that I haven’t seen any open world that looks as good as this, ever, which is kind of what we wanted.
That's exactly what I wanted too. Thanks, Bio. Graphic fidelity is way better than having high res graphics. I guessing that why Bio went with checkerboarding rendering for Anthem, to get the most out of xb1x hardware.
Forza 7 looks great on the xb1x. But I just would rather MS create a new racing game from the ground up instead of rehashing the Xbox one's assets.
Enough about the xb1x hardware power already. I want to know more about the xb1x's developers tools. And if the Devs tools are as user-friendly and easy as some devs have claim then MS will certainly get on top.
LOL, I'm pretty sure MS would say the same thing about Sony's Pro machine.
Anthem looks amazing to me. IMO it really doesn't matter if it runs at Checkerboarding res.Thing is, I'm really getting tired of seeing games that have amazing looking graphics with limited moving objects running in the background. In Anthem, pretty much everything was moving in the foreground/background which I like better IMO.
Days Gone looks to be an incredible game. Can't wait to see more gameplay footage at E3.
Boy do I wish the PS4 had the power of the scorpio because Sony has the better games than MS. To be honest, MS games are uninteresting to me.And I can clearly see that MS will have a hard time Outshining Sony when it come to producing different genre of games.
4K/60 fps works better than 4K/30 fps in a PC environment, with a mouse and keyboard.
