MS need to give gamers what they want instead of what MS want. Plain and simple.

They were taking about the AMD Ryzen CPU having 16mb of speedy L3 cache. The scorpio doesn't have AMD Ryzen CPU under it hood. And, from what I have gathered from many gaming sites, the scorpio have a jaguar CPU, which only has 4MB of L2 cache. I guessing it was just a rumour, and that's it.
From the article:
Introduction AMD Ryzen processors are now entrenched firmly in the PC firmament. They offer particularly appealing performanc...
scorpio dev kit shows that it can maintain 60FPS. I hoping we get the same results on the base scorpio system.
Too much Grey.
I got my eye on Days gone. can't wait til E3.
@Goldby
The xbox division of MS doesn't ahve access to all of Ms money. Mojang was purchased though Microsoft Corporation, not MS Studios. there is a difference. that would be like stating that Sony should be making better quality Audio speakers because of the 994million that SIE profited last year...
Well, I can honestly say I don't know much about MS entire bussiness status. But, I will say this though, It'd be very difficult for MS to cater to ...
Minecraft is a game isn't not? Its a shame, that MS spent well over two billion on MC. Honestly though, you mean to tell me that MS couldn't invest in more game studio?
Indeed very cool
MS has way more money in the bank than Sony. So, I don't see why MS couldn't buy more game studios, but yet they're willing to buy Mincraft for 2 billion dollars. variety is key. And so, if MS want world domination in the console market, its going to take a lot more than a lineup of 3rd party games. MS need to invest more in story driven games if they want to win against Sony.

Like I have meantioned before,"You can't compare the two(X1/scorpio), both systems are completely different in thier approch hardware wise"
Though, you might be right that the x1 also has a command processor under it hood. However, the x1 has an ESRAM while the scorpio don't, and to that note, it will certainly make a world of difference because as it stands the x1 is likely to have a lot more bottleneck than the scorpio. Everything has been reworke...

You can't compare the two(X1/scorpio), both systems are different in thier approch hardware wise. The x1 doesn't have a command chip between it CPU/GPU. I guessing MS finally realized, after many test run, they need a command chip to make DX12 work more efficiently.
Like the article states DX12 takes the burden off the CPU. Also, what about the comand chip between the GPU and CPU, that as well should also take the stress of the CPU. So, before making any judgement, lets wait til E3 so that we all can see how these new tech ideas work.
Phil did infact said the scorpio will be priced like a premium product. He didn't outright say what the price of the scorpio will be. But, he kept throwing the word "PREMIUM" around in his interview which should comes off as a hint to everyone.
Beside, the scorpio will be similar to what the Elite series is.
Hint Hint: Phil said, "I call it a premium console because I want people to be clear that the customer we're building that for is the pr...
I'm sorry to say, the scorpio hardware has some of, off-the-shelve technology and custom technology, combined in to one machine. That being said, they can't afford to sale the scorpio at a lost because MS has invested in AMD to make those custom parts for the scorpio. Custom parts isn't cheap. So, iif the scorpio is priced a little bit beyond evryone's expectations, its OK.
Burnout 3 Takedown

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
Ninja Gaiden
Halo 2
Those beautiful graphics on screen could use some HDR support. So that the colors would pop out even more.
This is one of the main reason why I don't like to play games on my PC, because you have to ticker with the settings a lot for each game.
Japanese People would never accept any product that has the MS band name on it. And also, according to MS, they already have 3rd party games being made for the scorpio. The workload would be too great for 3rd party devs to handle an addtional platforms...
That's good to know.Personality, I think nintendo are making a 2D metriod game that has the same level(or greater) of richness and detail as Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The other Metriod game is going to be another 3D Prime game.
