Hmmm... PC or PS4... PC or PS4...

Is this Pro compatible to get a boost from the PS4 Pro or no?

Was never a fan of Snap. I actually like the PS4 UI best, although I like the Xbox layout for game library far more. Wii U is somewhere in the middle I'd say (despite the OS being clunky)

Huh. Well, if it gets new games the OG Xbox One models can't play, then yes it's a new generation.

If it gets games the OG models can play, it's an upgrade (even if it's a really powerful one).

Either way, it's a new console and I'm excited. I wouldn't say PS4 Pro was half*** though. I mean, it was a decent little upgrade. Idk. I'm not into all these console wars. I like the PS4 Pro- got my PSVR and Vita, but also have...

Cue a line of fanboys trying to disparage this news.

God forbid they let one positive Nintendo article go by without trying to downplay it.

Everything's a freaking brand war on this site

Well then again, gamers nowadays call just about anything a gimmick. The controllers on the joycons have two analogues, 4 shoulder buttons and 4 face buttons...

People like you still call it a gimmick lol. Just ignorance is all it is. You gotta stop looking at anything that looks a little different as a gimmick. I think those joycon controllers are really freaking awesome. I would rather play with a joycon in each hand than with a pro controller. Technology has advanced f...

Idk, I don't think they'll ever see success like PS (even MS is losing marketshare ATM).

But I think it'll have a nice little market to itself, since Nintendo consoles truly do offer a different experience. Maybe more PS gamers who enjoyed Vita will appreciate there still being a device carrying the torch, and a small slice of PS4 and X1 and PC gamers who just was a second console to supplement their gaming diet (plus just being a super powerful handheld is a pr...

Oh thank goodness. Region free and games tied to accounts. Well done.

Both these games are amazing, especially Fast Racing. If they release F-Zero GX on GameCube as VC also, we'll be set

I need both these games on my Switch. I'll rebuy any PS4 exclusives coming to the system just for the portability

New Fire Emblem Echoes for 3DS in just 4 more months!

I've actually played FE Gaiden on NES, which this game was based on. Always wondered when they'd make a game based off Gaiden

Woot woot!

I love the handheld entries, they're masterpieces... but this is a long time coming.

Switch brings the franchise home next year!!!

Well until that day comes, I'll be over here gaming out on the Switch. Get back to me when that day ever happens.

Who on earth would want to play this game with normal controls? Unless you're in public on the go or something.

Joycon motion all the way

Um, it's not $100, or pounds, or whatever. I imagine that's a placeholder. Why is stuff like this getting headlines? Not that I care but it just amazes me that people are actually writing stories about placeholder prices.

Now, if they offer it for LESS, then by all means let me know about it. Price guarantee, gotta love it

Well ya, just like Switch games are downgraded to Wii U.

Cancelled my PS4 preorder and locked it in for Switch, which contains BOTH Dragon Quest Heroes games for the same price as the sequel on PS4. And you can play it on the go.

Lol agreed.

More Zelda, less cow milking

(although I'm strangely intrigued to try that 1-2 Switch game, the Joycon technology just seems really cool)

I hope it has mod support.

I heard somewhere it will, but like PS4 will restrict external assets. Better than nothing I suppose. Hopefully lots of creative PS4, Xbox One and PC gamers buy a Switch for their portable gaming needs and special Nintendo exclusives and fill the mod section up with lots of cool stuff.

Lots of excellent user-created mods out there. Will be so cool to just play this on the go though.

Wasn't sure how to feel seeing Mario in a real life setting at first. I guess it's just odd after all these years in the mushroom kingdom.

But gosh dang the game looks fantastic, finally a return to the open style Mario of N64. And if I know anything from 3D World, it's that every time they show off the game it's going to look twice as amazing as the time before. They always save the good stuff for last

-graphics look beautiful, that's an unreasonable criticism
-unreasonable price for graphics? The system is portable! Weak Vita launched at $250
-battery life (3-6 hrs is a tad on the low side, but given console games on the go it's fine)
-portability useless? The thing is not that big, daily planners are no bigger than this
-high accessories price ($65 X1 controllers, $70 Switch Pro controller, although I agree the dock is ludicrously overpriced)...

Says Nintendo learned nothing.

The system looks amazing and I'm all over it. Dopest handheld ever released. Best controller I've ever seen. This is motion done right. Don't REPLACE existing controls or force it in every game, just use it where it fits naturally, in a practical and innova...
