EA is worse than anyone when it comes to DLC,
Battlefield, Madden/NCAA/NHL, Action/RPG games ... it never ends with them.

I'd pay for Vacant as DLC for every COD game.
Vacant is by far one of the best maps ever.
Battlefield, Batman, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Dead Space, Madden, inFamous, Dragon Age, The Show, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter,etc. etc. etc.

I'll game on a huge Flat Screen, buy real games (Not crappy phone spinoffs and angry bird garbage), have surround sound, comfort, and a real gaming experience.
Console gaming isn't going anywhere. No matter how bad you hipsters want it to. Gaming on a phone F'Ing sucks. I have a real nice HTC smartphone and outside of bejeweled and tetris ... gaming on a phone blows.

Gran Turismo, Street Fighter, God of War, Forza, Ratchet & Clank, Madden, Tiger Woods Golf, Fifa, Little Big Planet, Alan Wake, Dragon Age, Batman, GTA, Red Dead, Final Fantasy, Uncharted, Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Castlevania, Mario, Zelda, Demons Souls, etc. etc. etc.
All prove gamers are not mindless shooter fanatics. Don't write an article thats makes Skyrim any more than these other games. They are all excellent in their own way.
Dragon Age II also. People, I think, forget that the story has little to do with the 1st game except it occurs along a close timeline with Origins.
Other than that Dragon Age II has new characters, a new story, a new Kingdom, and a lot to offer for people that really liked Origins. Just don't go in thinking it will be just like Origins. DAII is a great story that takes place in a different city that has different cultures and settings.

Anyone who has played MW3 can say it's the best COD since MW. Killstreaks are more balanced, weapons too, maps have eliminated the ability for people to camp all day, new game modes are awesome (kill confirmed), etc. MW3 is a really good and much needed installment. They made the game less gimped and catered to mediocre players like ...
To each his own is right, but I don't know how you found Black Ops to be better. BO is by far the worst installment this gen in just about every aspect. MW3 is an excellent game and Infinity Ward did a great job re-balancing the game out.
But, like you said, its a matter of personal taste.
This is why EA needs to worry more about their own product and do less over hyping and trash talking.
In the end, EA is standing there even further behind COD. Battlefied is great but EA should let the game speak for itself, now they look like idiots.

I have to say it was definitely the biggest Midnight release I had ever seen! The good thing behind all the sales is that MW3 is much improved over MW2 (Black Ops was just and abortion). Better maps, modes, weapons, killstreaks/support streaks are more balanced and tactical.
Overall a much improved installment.
Haven't any issues with my mic at all, weird. The first night was tough partying up...but with all the traffic I kind of expected it.
Love it or hate it, COD sells like crazy. If I had 20 friends online, 18 of them had MW3. This is even crazier than BLoPS, or MW2. Never been to a midnight launch as big either.
Hopefully any issues people are having are fixed soon!
I guess they aren't for everyone. I just think they make domination and HQ a lot harder and require more teamwork.

I hear you though. I know some people that only buy Madden and Cod. I ask them why and they just don't have the time and feel like investing $60 in something like a game isn't worth it. All kinds man, all kinds. For every one of us there are many more that don't game as hard.
There is a lot that has changed from MW2 to MW3. Tons of game modes, mods, and maps that finally don't cater to campers or have bottlenecks. There is at least 3 ways tp get to any point on these maps.
Infinity Ward did a great job tweaking all the modes and annoyances from past games! For anyone that hasn't played it, you really can't comment. I've played COD since PS2 and this is the best MP so far. No crazy killstreaks, noob tubes are watered down and...
People are just disagreeing with you because the game you like is more popular than theirs and they aren't grown up enough to handle it.
I don't get it. COD can give to DAYS of replayability. Say you pay $60 for the game and buy 3 $15 dollar map packs for a total of $105.... then you get 4 or 5 Days (And in a lot of cases more than 10 days online) of MP out of it... thats less tham $1 an hour to entertain yourself.
