The Best Buy where I live has about 80 copies of BF3 in a locked case.
Shipped and sold are very different.
BF3 did make quite a few people turn their heads though. Hopefully it pushes EA/Activision to continue to improve their products.

The problem with games now is they TRY to change too much and wind up getting away from what made them great. Add MP to a SP game, change this, change that... stop it! God of War doesn't need to change. Its like getting new powers in each game isn't enough.

If they added trophies to the PS2/PSone games I'd buy a ton. I still have most of my library but revisiting old games to trophy whore it up would be fun.

The show got interested enough to go show an interest in comics again and I've read the entire collection all the way up to the present issue twice!
I like that the game has a cell shaded style, adds that comic book feel!

Personally, I think the Animus and Desmond could have completely removed from the games and the games would actually be better.
I see Altiar and Etzio, awesome stealth killers .... then I switch back to some baby in a hoody that is a shadow of his apparent ancestors.

If you haven't picked up Kingdom of Amalur : Reckoning yet that is a great way to get rid of the spring/summer gaming lulls that seem to hit every year!

My first game ever was Jumpman on PC in the Mid 80's. My Grandfather worked for IBM and I used to love going over there to play on it because they were the only people around that had a desktop home PC back then.
Other than that I played just about every game they had that came on those old floppy discs.

This whole Mass Effect stuff is pathetic. This gen has created and developed the most whiny, spoiled, bratty, and childish "gamers" ever.
Its an awesome game. Could the ending(s) have been different? Sure. But the ending they chose, they chose for a reason .. their reason. Complaining about the Mass Effect 3 ending is like complaining to an artist because they didn't use the colors you wanted. But its not up to you, or me. They are telling their story.

Taking Grenade Launchers out isn't very "realistic". They exist quite frequently in combat and are extremely useful. Deal with them. MW3 also did a very good job of nerfing them done. Unless you get a near direct hit, it takes to shells to kill (unlike MW2 with tubes paired w/danger close perk).

I think the people that complain about the 12 year old rambo types are the ones getting owned by them so they hate on them. I also laugh at the camping complaint for 2 reasons :
1) "Camping" is in EVERY FPS game ... EVERY single one.
2) They are too stupid to outsmart "campers" and are so dumb that they run right out where campers typically, well, make camp.
No one also says anything about the fact that there has been AT LEAST one Battlefield game a year for the past decade (and besides the recent facelift, it hasn't changed much) ... but, of course Battlefield isn't being milked even though its the same thing.
You are missing out on a lot of awesome games.
