Good point, but even colonial marines had its suspenseful moments (like the mission you had no weapons). I don’t blame them for making a game like this, it’s just a shame that isolation didn’t fare well commercially because it’s one of my favourite survival horror games.
Surprised with the ‘worst month ever’ comments - whether you’re a sports fan or not this is a good offering. Plus it’s a bi-monthly update anyway.
Not quite the game I was hoping for after the reveal trailer - would’ve preferred more a atmospheric slow burner. I’m sure it’ll do ok though.

The acquisition wasn’t just bethesda though was it. Arkane, id, machine and tango all have a proven track record.
Ok mate but the last 4 Metal Gear games have been multi platform.
They should do away with gold altogether and just have Xbox Live as a free service with GamePass being the premium service.
I can imagine them bringing more tiers to GamePass as well, like basic (2 downloads per month or something like that).

Sorry but it sounds like you haven’t played it. The Medium is definitely a niche game, but a must for horror connoisseurs.
Plus if you’re a Silent Hill fan then combat shouldn’t be at the top of your list of concerns. Combat has never been that great - it’s all about the tone and atmosphere and I think bloober would do a great job with that.
RE6 was the series low point IMO. RE7 was a great game, if unoriginal. Personally I don’t think zombies will have anything to do with RE8 being a good/bad game. They just need to sort out the silly final acts of their games.
Hoping cross platform play will become standard during this generation.
Well we’re in the 1st year of the consoles life cycle and we know the big 1st party games are a way off, so why not bring in stuff like this?
Fair enough if they’re still banging on about this in 2 years, but for now it’s a great feature if they can make it more widespread.
Have you tried it? I’ve got the Razer Nari Ultimates for my Xbox and is really immersive for headset recommended games (The Medium for example),
I saw an interview a few years ago saying he was inspired by the mobile gaming market and that anyone can become a “gamer”.
Such a shame, for all his critics he’s brought us some fantastic games and I’m sure he’d still be able to contribute something to the core gaming market.
