Right but they had like 5 first party studios at one point last gen. Gone are the days of full 3rd party exclusives, so they knew they had to acquire some developers.

So sorry if that’s “not what you meant”. Why not write a letter to MS on behalf of the n4g community seeing if they will reverse the acquisition?

Apparently they’ve been taking big steaming dump on gamers for not producing enough exclusives though. Which way do you want it?

To be honest, it can be frustrating when a game constantly takes control away from you for cutscene after cutscene. On the other hand, they’ve certainly got a market so who cares if it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. You could pick holes in any genre otherwise.

You’ve completely lost the plot. Companies are allowed to tout multiple game engines, you know that right?

I’m not picking on you but if you’re going to show up in every comments section relating to Xbox/Bethesda and spout this nonsense then you’re opening yourself up to ridicule.

I get where you’re coming from, but Microsoft have consistently touted game pass as ‘the best deal in gaming’ so jacking up all the prices would be counter to all their marketing.

It looks like they’re fully focused on building the subscriber base for now, any price increases are likely to be incremental (£1 each year like Netflix).

Sounds like their being brutal and trimming some of the features it was originally going to offer in favour of a more focused final product. Time will tell if that’s a good decision.

That’s for Microsoft to worry about. Why not give them credit for subsidising the service for the sake of customer value?

You’re looking way too much into this mate. So you’re saying it’s alright to buy Sony games and give them money to buy developers and keep their games off other platforms (which they’ve done, because that’s business) but it’s not ok for Microsoft because... it’s Microsoft?

Fact is, is you were interested in these games before then the Xbox acquisition shouldn’t change anything. Don’t be blinded by brand loyalty.

Not buying a game because the developer is now owned by a rival console... just wow 🤯

Fair enough, but plenty have and would if they were third party.

Having said that, I keep getting told by PS owners that you all have high speed gaming PCs so I suppose you’ve got nothing to worry about.

What a lineup of games. Not played Prey before so might give that a go.

Hilarious fanboy meltdown right here. This is why we all love n4g 😂

The music was and is unforgettable.

They will probably won’t react unless they have to. Buying up timed exclusives seem to be thing at the minute.

I think MS will see Evil Within as a good horror franchise to get behind.

Hope that full list is true. I believe Morrowind is a back compat OG Xbox game.

Poor attempt at trying to start a thread of comments agreeing with you. As people have said, it’s a bad controller of a great console.

Not a launch title though.

I’m sure Microsoft will read your comment and take your advice on board.

Who do you mean by “us”? The entire n4g community?

COVID having a knock on effect - any games originally due for holiday 2021 will have almost certainly slipped into 2022. I suspect Everwild and possibly even Hellblade 2 have fallen victim of this.
