On the contrary, you’re pretty much spot on with everything you said. REmake is definitely my favourite followed by OG RE2.
RE4 is incredibly overrated, the game nosedives massively after the 2nd chapter with some laughably bad moments.

At least the themes seem abit more focused this time. As good as RE7 was, it couldn’t decide which film franchise it was trying to copy (one minute Texas Chainsaw, the next the Ring, then Saw etc)

People are delusional to think the graphics are anything other than spectacular. Sony undoubtedly has more talented studios than Microsoft, that are more au fait with the technology they are working with. I definitely think Microsoft are on the right track to competing with them though.

I’d seriously recommend Alan Wake to anyone who hasn’t played it yet. Still holds up as a great narrative action game.
You don’t have to buy every game day 1, the prices usually come down pretty quick. I only allow myself to buy one full price game a year. Just take your time with it and enjoy.
So if Sony brought back an old franchise like Syphon Filter or Sly Cooper, you’d be disappointed?
Nice attempt at playing this down, but STALKER was a great game and PS owners are unfortunately missing out.
