Literally every review this game has with a score under 8 has been trashed as being a fanboy/paid review. The level of delusion/insecurity is hilarious.
EDIT - looks like IGNs 8 score is getting trashed too lol.
My first 360 game and what a game it was! Loved the reliance on melee weapons and was creepy as hell.
How is a gamer supposed to relate to the “strategic opportunity” wording? This guy need PR training.
Over 23 million - https://www.google.co.uk/am...
And exactly right, more offerings like Outriders and The Medium day 1 is too good to pass up.
Good, hopefully some new IPs as well.
Fair comment. I should’ve said the best received is the series, but I know plenty of people who prefer the original.
Fable 2 is already available on xcloud, but it is a shame it has never come to PC (being the best in the series and all).
Not really a fair comment when some people (for various reasons) can’t afford to pay full price for a game.
Plus there’s no way of knowing whether you want a sequel to a game unless you buy/play it. Should we pay full price for every game we buy then?!
It’s a prediction mate, you know what they are don’t you.
5/6 of the games you mentioned are already released and therefore likely started development years ago. See what happens in the next 3-4 years before leaping to Sony’s defends.
Seems to back up the news of Sony only wanting big blockbuster games. Makes sense from a business point of view, but we’re not going to get many creative risks from them either.
Nice to see big websites like IGN take their time with a review. Can’t give a reliable view on a game like this for at least a couple of weeks.
PlayStations aren’t just going to stop selling after a bit of bad press. If all this had come out before launch they’d probably have been easier to get, but to the everyday person they’ll just get caught in the snowball effect of ‘It’s sold out everywhere so I need one’.
I used a Dualsense for the first time the other day. The triggers are excellent, but to be honest the haptics became a bit of a distraction. Its great tech but wouldn’t say it dramatically improves the experience.
It’s been announced for the One but is coming out on Series X/S first.
Yeah forget the consumer, as long as Sony is making money then what’s the big deal?.....
To be honest I’d be amazed if we see Starfield this year anyway. We still haven’t seen any gameplay footage yet - my guess would be Q4 2022.
This is a glimpse into the future of where Sony is heading... and it ain’t pretty. Remaking a game less than 10 years old is nothing short of bewildering.
Love a Phil Spencer article, 90% of the comments are hilariously warped, insecure fanboy whining. Just keep doing your job Phil - you’re clearly doing something right by sparking this kind of reaction.
And yet in the last year they’ve given Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima and Demons Souls a 9, and Last of Us 2 a 10… yeah all that Microsoft money is clearly clouding their judgement.
