All sports games should follow this model, instead of annual releases making the gameplay .1% better. Many other cases have shown that this model works.
12 new games, that’s insane!
Enjoyed as in past tense?
Seriously though, everyone has a favourite console, there’s nothing wrong with that. Imposing that on other people and slating them for feeling differently is. Fair play for the measured response.
Doubt they would remaster a game halfway through the series. From memory, many of the missions were from previous games anyway.
What am I saying? Expecting a new/remastered splinter cell is a stretch. It’s probably that multiplayer crossover game that was rumoured a couple of months back.
This game went dark for ages. Microsoft haven’t even put it in their 2021 release schedule. At least they’re giving updates now.
Go ahead and play it down all you want, but how many PS2/3 game discs work on PS5? What about Gamcube/Wii game discs on the Switch?

Gamer comment - well done all, completion is healthy for the industry.

He didn’t say that. The exact quote was that he didn’t want to reveal games unless there was a “real believable plan” in mind. Nice try at trying to twist his words though.
On topic though, how is skipping event after event a good move? If they’re that confident about their lineup, they should be able to shoe something at each major event.
And yet Microsoft is the only company offering a console that is backward compatible with the previous 3 generations. Not to mention that gamepass offers older games that aren’t on general sale anymore. Somehow the article still manages to find a negative slant.
The real question is why you felt the need to defend him in the first place. His PR isn’t great at times but he’s only stating the truth here.
Yep, people have openly admitted on this site that they won’t buy the game solely because Arkane is part of Microsoft now. I guess Sony wasted their time and money with this exclusivity agreement then.
I said popularised mate, not started. Grab a dictionary if you’re not sure next time.
It also popularised online gaming on console, a blueprint which Sony spent most of the generation copying.
Wow if that’s how you generalise multiplatform games then you’re continually missing out on some absolute bangers. Enjoy living in your bubble then I suppose.
UFC4, nice!
No, it was a quote from Phil. Next?
Why are you already thinking about a sequel? You have some incredibly warped interest in gaming if you can’t judge a game on it’s own merits.
Every Tekken up to 5 innovated in some way. I’d go with 3 myself with the sheer number of excellent new fighters.
That’s like saying ‘stop watching Netflix and start buying DVDs/Blu rays’. Times are changing mate, there’s more ways of accessing gaming now than ever.
