The reality is that Microsoft has a bigger balance sheet and Sony can’t make the same sort of industry-shaking acquisitions. Carry on dressing up the morals of this as much as you like though.

Because some people aren’t sheep and have their own opinions perhaps? I’ve enjoyed Bloobers games (albeit I’ve only played 2) and I think they could do something interesting with SH. They have to try something different after the last couple of instalments anyway.

Unfortunately big budget single player games are becoming insanely expensive and take several years to develop. Although they usually sell very well, they probably don’t recoup development costs as well as a multiplayer game does, so you can’t blame these developers for trying to cash in.
Would love to see Chronicles of Riddick added.
They clearly don’t have the financial resources to do a Bethesda-like deal, so they’re better off going for developers like this making sleeper hits. And in fairness, they already have some of the best studios in the business
£50 for any game is plenty. Making it more inaccessible for young kids who want to get into gaming.
Waiting for the next gen version. Will hopefully be the game the first envisioned.

To be fair mate, you brought Xbox into to conversation, not me. I honestly couldn’t care less if you have a PC, PS5, Xbox or whatever, you obviously do.
I could make an argument as to why gaming on PC and Xbox is great (cross play and cross progression if you have gamepass for a start) but you’ve clearly got your head so far up Sony’s a** to listen.

Completely acknowledge that all Xbox games are on PC and therefore are not exclusive, but quite frankly I don’t really care about exclusives. I care about good games. Anyone who champions a game because it’s exclusive are wearing rose tinted glasses.
Because Xbox’s are around half the price of a decent gaming PC, that’s why.
My comment was based a recent trend of PlayStation games being ported to PC. Why must insecure fanboys flock to defend their precious piece of plastic?

Sorry mate but you’ve got that completely wrong. How is a game not on PS considered an exclusive? Would you consider Ori an exclusive because it’s on virtually every platform except PS?
I think MS is making it clear that there are plenty of platforms you can play their games on. You don’t even need an Xbox. Most people on this site have state many a time they have high powered PCs, so there’s absolutely nothing to worry about!
