Do you think Valve Corporation isn't in business to make as much money as possible? Do you think they take a whopping 30% from developers just to make a small profit, and that they hire as few people as possible because they care about consumers?
You guys need to grow up and stop whining like entitled babies, you're making the large majority of gamers look bad.
What exactly does Devolver do to justify taking half of developer's profits (and that's after Valve takes their 30% cut)?
Every game they publish is previewed, reviewed, and talked about on most game sites, are they paying for that coverage? How does it work?
I'm surprised you didn't include the term 'SJW' in that stupid comment.
When they step in because they think games are too sexy or too violent please don't scream your head off on the internet, we'll just say we told you so.
Please explain how you're being forced to purchase loot boxes.
I don't want the government interfering in video games or social media.
There was an article just like this a few years ago. It went in to detail and even talked about Roberts' wife's positon at the company. Since then they've continued to raise tens of millions. I don't get it.
I love Jason Schreier's in-depth articles.
harmny: "I work in the film industry. It's pretty fun "
No you don't.
PC Gamer acts like they're an authority on everything.
Does anyone rememeber when they told us SteamOS was the future? They wrote more than a hundred articles on it, every one positive.
If you look carefully, you'll see that most (not all) of their articles are biased and geared toward helping their special partner Valve Corporation. They also help their developers friends.
"...customers are forced to buy on their store..."
No one is being forced to buy anything.
They are competing right now, aren't they?
It won't affect anything.
This Eddings guy is a joke.
Only haters would believe this nonsense.
Since you klnow so much, when will charges for those very serious crimes be brought against him?
If achievement systems were built into the games themselves there would be no need for an exclusive Steam system. That's all I was saying.
It's just another thing Valve Corporation does to keep people in their walled garden.
@Inzo
You don't want people to form their own opinions?
Yup, I just posted that before I read your comment.
I don't care about them but maybe other people do?
Valve loyalists would be saying things like 'look how triggered the snowflake Epic fanboys are'.
