@Rachel_Alucard

It's my understanding that Valve Corporation doesn't take kindly to people who aren't on their side. Many developers are actually afraid of saying anything bad about them.

I don't think the media (whatever that is) is pushing a narrative at all, why would they?. PC Gamer (Future US Inc.), and several other big game sites, have a special relationship with Valve Corporation, so they certainly aren't. Who is this media you...

Physical retail and digital retail are completely different things.

I think Valve Corporation has always been about making money for themselves.

Whatever it is, it's obvious that developers aren't happy with Steam, or are at least happier with Epic. There is nothing wrong with that, people shouldn't be furious about it.

Look on the bright side guys, you can buy Poo Thrower 2 or My Dad Taking a Shower Simulator from $team while waiting for the amazing Borderlands 3 to end its exclusive run at the Epic Store.

Same here, I never bought that game at $team and I'm having fun with it.

You have several choices: buy the game when it's released at the Epic Store, wait for it to release at Valve Corporation's Steam store, or don't buy it at all.

I hope it never has all the features Steam does.

People do not have the right to post videos on YouTube, let alone be paid for doing so.

Advertisers should be able to decide what type of content their ads are associated with.

Can you imagine what it would be like if platforms like YouTube didn't have the freedom to make decisions for themselves, who would make those decision then?

Another win for Epic.

@BlackTar187

Call it what you like, most major corporations don't want to be associated with homophobia.

I don't understand why people are so outraged by this. It's Ubisoft's product and they decided to make a very slight alteration to it, so what.

@Razzer

Oh I see, you're using whataboutery.

edit: I see below you used the term 'leftist'. Now I completely understand.

Ubisoft altering their own product isn't censorship.

@Razzer

I had a feeling you would say exactly that. Why not explain what you meant?

2495d ago 1 agree6 disagreeView comment

No major corporation wants to be associated with homophobia. What is so difficult to understand about that?

"...cops are obviously not among the groups whose feelings have to be protected."

What are you even talking about?

2495d ago 1 agree7 disagreeView comment

Are you telling us that “FA6607” is just coincidental? Is that what you're really saying? I can't tell if you're joking or not.

How does Devolver get so much press attention? Every game they publish is positively written about months in advance, every one is reviewed by all major and minor outlets, and most are then still written about weeks later.

Because Epic takes only 12%.

Also, just because Microsoft, Google, and Apple take 30% doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

Accusing me of being a shill is a terrible argument.

2498d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

Neither is Epic.

Greed.
