Seven years of planning. Both MS and Sony were more than ready. That's a very transparent fanboy argument. This has been the longest cycle in console history. So if you think this cycle was rushed, what do you suppose companies went through with the 5 year cycles?

I agree with your idea of a utopia between the 2 consoles in theory. But in practice, their would be a lot of hurdles to over come from the differences in software and hardware leading to inevitable glitchs, bugs, and lag. So idk if that could ever work.

Why shouldn't they ban people? They aren't banning regular players. Ban cheaters and hacks. That's part of the appeal to console play vs on the pc.

I'd spend a little more on the gpu vs getting a ssd. Well actually I'd do both, but if you have to save some money and forced to pick one, the gpu is money better spent.
The only thing ssd does for me is a lot faster boot time on start ups (which is very nice don't get me wrong). But theres no difference once in game for the stuff I play.

You have a horrible grasp of comparisons. The comparison is of 2 PC operating systems. They are as close of a comparison as you can possibly get. I don't feel you even understand what an OS even means if you think the difference is not apples to apples.

You basically just said everything that Out1awed already mentioned. Broadwell offers little to no advantage to gamers over previous chips. It's focused all on low power for portable devices. And some underpowered intergrated gpu junk that no gamer that can afford even a low end gpu, would ever use.
