I have COD 4 and GH3 which I really dont play that often anymore. Never was that interested in another GH game because I didnt feel like paying 180-190 dollars for more stuff just to play the game. I wont be buyign Tony Hawk Ride for the same reason. No need to probably spend over 100 dollars for a fake plastic board when I can just play the Skate games with my controller. Other than COD and GH Activision hasnt been doing that well as far as quality games goes. Thats why no one has been buyin...
Well ive already got the PSEye so Im hoping this wont be too expensive without the camera. Anyway my kids would have a blast with this so i know ill be getting it.
The Uncharted 2 beta is great. I have a lot of fun in the MP part but I think I enjoyed the Co-Op just a little more. Anyway its a day oen buy for me and would have been even without the MP and Co-OP. Ill play through the SP before I even get into the other modes.
So no one is looking forward to Ratchet And Clank Future: A Crack In Time? That along with Uncharted 2 and MAG are on my must buy exclusive list for this fall.
This will be a day one buy for me. Ive been a fan of this series since day one and I never had any doubt that Sony Santa Monica would deliver.
Ok how did you come to the conclusion that Dead Space was not made by EA? Is it because the dev company mentioned is Visceral Games? If so then you should know that Visceral Games used to go by the name EA Redwood Shores and just recently changed the name. By the way im asking Kinoic.
Id love to see trophies for this as well. I just got done beating the game again though and man I enjoyed it as much this time as I did the first. I actually played through MGS 3 before playing through MGS 4. I think out of the series MGS 3 is my fav followed by MGS 4. Anyway Im still hoping Kojima will remake MG1 and MG2 or at the very least somehow port the originals onto PSN. I never got a chance to play through them and cant find a copy of Subsistence that has both discs.
Uncharted 2 definitely has a good shot at being GOTY. And yes it could even beat out MW2. remember both MW2 and Uncharted 2 were playable at E3 and a lot of sites picked Uncharted 2 as Best in Show based on the gameplay at E3. Anyway we will find out in a few months what game will win.
Im glad this is timed but it still blows chunks that they are going this route. I bet the PS3 version is done and ready to be released but because of what ever BS reason (probably some money involved) they wont give it to everyone at once. This will tick off some people who would have bought it but now may not based on this news. Allthough if they are holding on to this only to add more content to it at a later date for PSN then others may jump on buying it.
I just think its funny that whatever the majority of reviewers seem to do for games Gamesradar does the exact opposite. I see more and more sites rating Prototype around 70s-80s and here we have GR giving it a 90. Yet other games get 90s from most places and GR seems fit to give it in the 70s. I certainly do not trust their reviews and i dotn think anyone else should either.
I dont know of many games lately PS3 has struggled on when it is used as the lead platform. Look at how good Dead Space turned out using the PS3 as the lead. The fact is when devs put in the time to actually learn the PS3 games for all systems are the better for it. So what if they have to put in a little more work to do it. Like I said Valve are just too lazy to put forth a little more effort. Like everyone else ive heard devs say how the PS3 is so different and even Sony heard it which is w...
I just read an article in PTOM where they asked many third party publishers why they liked developing games for the PS3 and while they said it took some learning to figure out how to best utilize the Cell and SPUS. They have found that once they did it really drove forward how powerful it is and what could be done on it. Valve saying they wont because its too "complicated" just means they are nothing but too LAZY to try. No wonder Newell got so Fat. he doesnt like actually working h...
I see some epic games coming from Sony both for Casual gaming and hardcore with the motion controllers. You know Sony has some games already in development and probably will be ready to release from their studios at the release of the controllers.
One of the only reasons Sony keeps getting marked down is because people keep thinking all they should focus on is the PS3. They keep forgetting that Sony has 50 million PSP customers that havent had that many good games lately. i for one was glad to see all the PSP stuff. They also said they would continue to support the PS2 as long as people keep buying it and obviously its still selling. Once Sony does a price drop on the PS3 then things will start to look a little better there sales wise ...
yep. Pay less at first only to realize you have to pay more later to get the most out of it.
@donnie
They already said that one disc holds the extra stuff and will INSTALL on the HDD. The other disc is used to run the game. Without an HDD which all arcade systems do not come with you wont be able to utilize the extra content since you wont have anything to INSTALL it too. So again those with an Arcade and no HDD will not be able to enjoy the full game.
So many people are missing the point of the article. The negative isnt on changing discs. Its on the fact that if you own a 360 with no HDD and many people do since it is the cheapest choice, then you wont be able to enjoy the entire Forza game. Of course people could always buy an HDD from MS but those things are way too expensive and the only reason they cost so much is so people will line MS' pocket. MS did what they wanted to do which is beat Sony to the punch and yes they have also sold ...
If they really do give me a way to keep some of my UMDs as DD then Ill definitely reconsider my opinion about the PSP Go. As it stands 249 is a bit too high without a way to be able to play my UMD titles on it. I certainly wouldnt rebuy them when i have a working PSP that can play them. But being able to have them there in the system is a huge win. Anyway I do hope Sony gies us more details in the future especially about which titles will be available.
Ok I had GT 3 and GT4 but never really got into them much because I just couldnt afford a steering wheel for them. However Im curious if there will be a new one released around the time GT 5 comes out or not. If they do Ill definitely buy it this time and Im sure to play GT5 more than i did the other games in the series. Anyway the big thign for me about GT5 is the fact they have NASCAR. EA can say goodbye to ever selling another NASCAR game again.
I think he put mid cycle because the original xbox only lasted 4 years and he expects Sony to just dump the PS3 in another 2 or so. Anyway this article is full of fail. Only some delusional 360 fanboys would take him seriously.
