I loved Twisted Metal 2 and Twisted metal Black, so im really looking forward to this game. Cant wait to see how insane it will be actually playing this online too.
Part of the problem may be that the PSN store has not been updated today yet. At least it hasnt here in the US. The other issue is everyone is trying to access EA's site at the same time and their servers cant handle the workload. Ive got my code and Im going to sit here with it and be patient because I know it will get fixed.
I was just watching the trailer that is on PSN troday with my kids and they definitely want this. Im seriously impressed with how much it has changed since last year. No more having a cardboard cutout or having to draw the pictures on a piece of paper. I was a little bummed when it got delayed last year but the changes they have made will make it much easier for my kids to play.
Knowing MS they would look at the preorder numbers and raise the price by another 50 dollars. They may add in a game but it doesnt make it any better.
Ive got more faith in Agent from Rockstar North than I do Kingdoms by Crytek. We know about both about as well as anyone can with no trailer or gameplay footage. But given each studios history I think Agent will probably be the better of the two. Plus at least we have a game description for Agent. Of course until I see actual game footage then I wont really hold my breath for either but instead look forward to the games we have seen and know something about.
They should have been doing that years ago but instead they have been closing their 1st party studios. Multiplat titles are all well and good and usually produce some of the best games we have. But it is through 1st party exclusives that really help define a console. Also 1st party support for Kinect could help it develop the identity MS wants for it. But they are lacking too much for them to realize that Im afraid. 3 out of the 4 exclusive titles shown during their press conference are being...
Definitely a day one buy for me. Id really enjoy playing Start The Party and Sports Champions with my kids, SOCOM 4 and later KZ3 for me. Also even later all the other titles Im sure will end up supporting this. Nintendo did well to get motion controls out to the mainstream and Sony has taken that and really improved on it as some people said in the vid. Motion controls imo have a place in gaming especially if the company using them has software for every type of gamer.
Im getting it.
I never got to play Time Crisis 4 either. But I was a huge fan of the TC games on PS1 and PS2. I spent many hours replaying TC 1 just always trying for better scores and a faster complete time. I even had an arcade stick controller for the PS1 and used that like the foot controls in the arcade for reloading. Trying to hit the buttons on the Guncon made my hand start to hurt after extended playing.
Pretty well rounded review from them on what they have seen so far. Im looking forward to Move myself for games like The Fight, Tiger Woods 11, Sorcery, SOCOM 4, KZ3, Dead Space Extraction and Heroes On The Move. Im also looking forward to it for games I know my kids would enjoy like Eye Pet and Start The Party which I know Ill be playing with them. Sony did well to showcase Move as something not just for the casual audience which Im sure they can grab with Move but for someone like me who ha...
I fully expect Sony to continue improving the Core service. Some say Sony doesnt care about their fans but they have shown time and time again they listen to the people who buy into playstation and strive to keep improving it based on our feedback. Granted they are in it to make money but the best way to get someone's money is by giving them things they want. So there will be people who buy into PS+ (Ill be one of those) and Sony will probably take that money to improve on both the Core s...
Exactly. If MS would allow everyone to play online for free but charge for the features they obviously wouldnt make as much money but there would still be those willing to pay for the extra stuff. And there is nothing wrong with that. If they would actually do this Id buy a 360 because it has many games Id love to play but I refuse to pay 60 dollars for half a game.
I like the new look and voice for Cole. I also am loving the new gameplay elements and I cannot wait to get my hands on this game.
I feel the same way. Seeing all the new stuff that will use Move and getting godo details on PSN+ has really convinced me that those will be things I want to spend money on.
The free games, automatic updates and patches, access to full version trials, and the early access to demos and betas is enough for me to say Im going to be paying for a year subscription to PSN+. If cross game chat comes with that then fine. It may or may not be a feature I use but Im excited to see how Sony will keep expanding this into the future. Also Im aware of losing out on any free games you download if you dont renew your subscription but hey you would spend a lot more just trying to...
Ive never hated Valve but the things he has said in the past did rub me and many PS3 owners the wrong way. Having said that though I really enjoyed Half Life on PS2 and more recently on PC. Im also seriously thinking about going out to buy The Orange Box now so I can play through Portal since my PC wont play it. I definitely want to get used to some of the story before Portal 2 comes out.
Well Ill be going ahead and getting the one year service. Much better value for the money and like they said they will continue adding features so the cloud saving system could come in the future.
Hence my saying Nintendo disappointed many a bot with this news.
Pacther is wrong and Nintendo just disappointed many a bot with this news. They were so hyped up hoping Rare would bring Goldeneye to the 360. But Rare is stuck taking it up the ass from MS and forced to make shovelware for Kinect.
I will definitely be p-laying SOCOM 4 with both a DS3 and the Move controller. Once Ive used both then Ill be able to judge which gives me the better experience. Im glad to hear we cna use both online as well. Even when using Move it will come down to a person's skill. And I expect it will take a bit more skill and control to target someone with Move than the DS3. The slightest twitch of a wrist could comepletely throw off your shot I would expect.
