There isnt a trial for it. The three months free comes with a yearly subscription in the US. Pay for a year and get the three months free added on to it. Basically 15 months for 49.99. In the EU region they get LBP as a digital download for their one year paid subscription bonus.
Im buying PS+ during the first week. Wont have enough money for it on day one but will be getting it on July 2nd which is payday for me.
I currently pay for a 15mbs connection and with my wireless laptop I usually hit speeds in the 9-10mb range. My cable company is supposed to be upping the speed to 100mbs per second in the future though. I dont know a time frame of when exaclty though. Im currently with Suddenlink in Greenville, NC.
I never bought TC 4 because I didnt want to attach those sensors all the time when I wanted to play it since I have an LCD TV. But now that it supports move I will be picking up Razing Storm so I can play that and TC4.
I saw that and I expect they are still working on the best way to implement it. The wording though is interesting. They mention it for Playstation Network and not Playstation Plus which would make it seem they will be releasing it for everyone for free in a future firmware update whenever they figure out how.
I dont know why people have so many problems with the fact you cant keep the games if your subscription runs out. That is really nothing different from paying for Netflix where you can watch any of the movies they offer for instant streaming but if you let your subscription go then you cant watch them anymore. Also if people buy a MMO you have to pay a fee every month to play it. Granted with that you have to buy the game first but if your subscription ever runs out you can no longer play it ...
If I had enough money to buy a 3d tv this year I would. Ive been looking to upgrade mine for awhile. Despite it being 1080p it only has a 60hz refresh rate. 3D will take off if it really is supported well by entertainment companies. That includes video game developers, Movie Studios, and Television. Right now the price point is just too high though but the more support it will get the more people will begin to buy it until it becomes common tech and the prices will start dropping.
Even though I have the two PSN titles listed already I dont have the minis or PS1 titles. But I know wither ervy month they will be releasing a new PSN title and at some point they will have the title I dont have yet. Coupled with the games and every other offer it has I will be buying a yearly subscription on day one. Also here in the US we dont get LBP but we do get an addition 3 months free for the price of a year's subscription. I know many people arent going to be buying this yet but...
Ill be getting it as well. Also if MS would make online gaming free on Live but charge for the features Id buy a 360. But as it stands now even with the features having to pay to play online is a big barrier for me. I dont spend 60 dollars on a game only to enjoy half of it if it has an MP portion.
Yes MMO fees do go to game companies but for The Agency and DCU Online the fees are going back to Sony. Sony Online Entertainment are the ones working on and support those two MMOs. So since that is the case if they wont let us play them for free at least give me a discount or a multiple month pay option.
Paying for PS+ but not Live doesnt make you a hypocrite. Sony is still keeping free online gaming and everything else we have now for free. PS+ just adds more value to that. For Live if you want to experience everything a game you bought offers like the MP portion you have to pay just to use it. That is where I have my problem for Live. If they would allow everyone to game online for free but charge for the features Id go out and buy a 360. It has many games I want to play but I wont because ...
Day One Buy for me. I love the fact I can download games for free and a lot of the games listed look like great choices. I own the two PSN titles listed already but Im liking the PS1 and Mini titles as well as the themes and other items. I think Sony will be making a lot of money on this moving forward. But the best news is everything we already have like online gaming will stay free.
Dead Space 2 Limited Edition is 59.99 from Gamestop on PS3. So no PS3 owners dont have to pay more for both games. Also Visceral Games is leading on PS3 with DS2 development so I expect it will either look slightly better on PS3 or will be no difference at all.

Id like to see a tri monthly or yearly plan for subscribing to a MMO. Even maybe let us pay one price to play both The Agency and DCU Online. They could make it a little higher than a single game subscription but including more than one game would be great.
I dont think LBP will be a PS+ timed exclusive. They are giving it away for free in EU if you subscribe to PSN but I expect they will also have it out on the PS Store for people to buy if they want too. That would make the most sense to me and could entice more people to maybe pay for PS+. They could have the option of paying full price or pay for PS+ and get it for free along with all the other stuff. Right now in the US LBP new is 29.99. Im not sure of the EU price. But that is only 20 doll...

It has already been said that if you get a subscription to PS+ during the first month you get LBP for free. The only way that would work is as a full game download. Also the full game of inFAMOUS is supposed to be up there for people to play for an hour for free. If people like it they can buy it and all their trophies will unlock once they pay for it. Looks like Sony is really trying to test out Digital distribution on a much larger scale now. I do wonder how much space these games will take...
I already have the two PSN games listed but Im sure there will come a time where I dont have the game listed. Also the fact that if your account lapses you can get it back later and still get the games and content back. That is huge. Im well aware thought that anything you buy you keep though.
