The company that developed the camera Kinect is built around went to all the video game companies showing the tech. Sony passed on it because of Dr. Richard Marks seeing that it had limitations compared to where they wanted to take motion gaming. This was back during the PS2 days when they had the eyetoy out already. So yes he knows what he is talking about when it comes to the limits Kinect has.

It is looking really good. Will definitely be a day one buy for me.

id like to know exactly how you think Home failed? Sony has done nothing but add to it since it released and they actually make a big profit on all the items they sale in Home for the Avatars. Also they are always making deals with dev studios to make Home Spaces and just announced a deal to start having games built specifically for Home. Next time before you go off saying Home failed do some research or at least read the article that this is about.

Even if I had a 360 Id be SOL with this. Neither of the theaters in my town use MovieTickets.com. Both however use Fandango. Still nice to see this type of access for people who want to use it.

from the gameplay and other vids Ive seen Im really excited for this. Im also glad its going back to 3rd person view like the excellent Everything Or Nothing game. I expect that this will really do well especially if they keep the more realistic tone that the latest James Bond movies have had.

If this is as good as everything or Nothing then it will be 60 dollars well spent. The vid definitely looked good and Im hoping we get a release announcement for this soon.

Im going to have to disagree on that. Im a father of three and work hard but even so I dont own all three consoles. I cant afford them all and the games Id want to play for each. Also at this point in time I just cant bring myself to buy a 360. It does have a lot of games Id love to play on it. But as long as MS charges for people to play online I wont support them. Im ok with charging for the extra feature but not for the ability to fully enjoy a game that costs 60 dollars. The only reason w...

I agree. I loved Frontlines on the PS2. The opening level was great. Cant wait to see it in HD and Im hoping for some surround sound as well. Im also looking forward to Dead Space 2 and getting Dead Space Extraction for it.

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe its MS holding up the beta from being released and not EA? They could be having issues with integrating it into Live or maybe someone at MS got upset about the PS3 exclusive game and thought maybe this would help hurt the sales. Heck it could even have Activision's hand in it seeing as how they have such a big partnership with MS for the COD DLC for the next few years and they dont want MS giving that much help to their competition.

That is true that sales are important to publishers. But they do look at how each console performs over a long period of time and what the potential growth looks like for the future. based on those trends they determine what they will do with a particular game whether it be maybe exclusive dlc or advertisement or something else to generate more dollars for their game. I think because of how well the PS3 has been doing year after year since it launched is the reason why many devs have really s...

Well most of us still want to talk about games. But 360 fanboys like Tron there dont have a lot to look forward to over the next few years with MS moving their focus to Kinect. Got to give them something to play and I guess the sales game is the best one in town on the 360. If I was an irrational fanboy as well Id certainly think thats all they have to do. But I know there are several good games already out on it and coming out for it soon. Just too bad a lot of the 360 owners dont support di...

This will be available for anyone who has a PS3 in the US and subscribes to Hulu Plus within the next few months. Here is a direct quote from the Playstation Blog about it.

"As Hulu Plus becomes generally available in the coming months, all PlayStation 3 users in the United States will be able to download and subscribe to the full Hulu Plus service and it will also be available on wide range of Sony Electronics Internet-connected entertainment devices, including select B...

I have PS+ but I doubt Ill be trying to get into the preview. I may buy into this when it goes up for everyone though. It just depends on what the back catalog looks like. There are a lot of shows Id like to watch again or catch up on and Netflix doesnt carry that many.

Edit: I really like that anyone can access this with a PS3 if they pay for the Hulu Subscription. Does seem like a better option than trying to watch it on the 360 since you have to pay for both Live and the ...

I loved the beta and I definitely plan on picking up MOH on day 1 for my PS3. Cant wait to play Frontline again as well but this time in HD.

I plan on getting Move on day one. I probably wont get all the launch games but there are enough for my family to play using it. Also I like a lot of the more core games that will be utilizing it as well. With Move added into the PS3 arsenal the future is looking very bright.

Ive already got the PS3 version on pre order. I absolutely loved Medal Of Honor Frontline on the PS2 so Im psyched to be able to play it in HD on my PS3. Also Ive played the beta for MOH and I enjoyed it more than I have COD. Im really excited to see what the SP will be like as well. But if anyone has both a 360 and the PS3 then I have to ask this. Why wouldnt you buy it for anything but the PS3? You seriously cant go wrong getting two games for the price of one.

Im really excited for Move. I have seen a lot of games I can enjoy with my family as well as games that will be just for me to play with Move. Im especially excited to finally get to play Dead Space Extraction when I get Dead Space 2 in Jan. That was one of the games I was looking at getting whenever I finally get a Wii but now I can just play it with Move on the PS3 instead. Because of Sony focusing on both the core gamer and casual they are putting themselves in best position to really grab...

The only people arguing against Move are the 360 fanboys who are upset Kinect wasnt built with them in mind. Sony has always tried to cater to both the casual market and the more hardcore market. Move is just another tool in their arsenal for that. And while some would consider Sports Champions as a casual title. The devs who made it stated they spent over a year and a half working on it. I think that it has been shown to be time well spent.

Yep. I still remember what Sony said shortly after the PS3 launched about it being a marathon and not a sprint. Many people back then laughed at Sony and thought they were crazy. Well Sony was right for following their ideas and it shows in the quality and quantity of games they have had and will have in the future.
