I agree. The original and even the 360 look better. XBOX One looks as bad as the PSX did in 2003.
Actually he was talking about the controller when he said "it was designed by gamers for gamers". The XBOX One though is clearly not for gamers.
@Hellsvacancy
"Well, the PS1 was the first Playstation, hence PS1
This is the 3rd Xbox, surely it should be called Xbox Three, I understand why MS is using Xbox One "one box to rule them all" etc, its just dumb, and gamers are like not liking it, well, except GreenPowerz"
Most people just called it Playstation. In 2000 Sony released a smaller version of the Playstation as PSOne. Then all the systems started being called th...
Yes the PS4 is primarily a gamers system first. But that is where Sony is getting it right. I don't really know what other markets MS has been successful in. Other than the XBOX any other venture outside of their PC software has been lackluster at best. Sony has always been more diverse and integrated in the entertainment side of things. Even before the PS1 even got started they were already successful with their home entertainment products, BMG, and movie studios. The PS2 had DVD integra...
Normally the term would be that it went off like a trainwreck. But considering the game you call creepy. I guess we can say the conference went about as well as a shipwreck. I definitely don't have any enthusiasm for One at all now. But it has just shown me that PS4 is the right way to go.
It kind of looks like the PSX that was released way back in 2003. It was so expensive though it only came out in Japan.
Yep that pretty much summed it up.
Everyone knows MS messed up badly with the reveal. But what I don't get is what did they change from what they had planned a month ago? They delayed this whole thing to respond to the PS4 and this is the best they could do? It would have been better if they had just waited until E3 to show this with the games. It could have made it a pretty great E3 and instead they now say the same thing many XBOX fans have been saying since 2009. Just wait until E3. Well I will be interested to see what...
For those who actually think that this is a good idea. Well I hope that MS doesn't follow what they did with Surface. The OS on that takes up a big portion of the available storage space for one OS. So what do you think 3 OS' will do to the XBOX One HDD? They say it has 500gb of space but in reality it will most likely be somewhere between 400gb-300gb of actual space to use for storage.
I am curious about that myself. What if it isn't a friend but a family member who lives in the same house and games on the same system. Do you have to pay a fee for each account in addition to the original to play one game? Granted you already have to buy Gold for each account on the same system to play online. So I guess it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to think MS would want to charge for each account on one system to play one game. But if that really is the case that is a huge...
Actually the installs have been streamlined to the beginning of the game. You can now install the full game so that you don't have to between Acts. It isn't just the new version that does that. Since they released the trophy patch you now have that option with the original version as well.

Go to the 3:12 mark in the video link I provided and the developer states what the exact structure of the game is.
It actually is not an Open World game. I guess Kotaku doesn't pay much attention to the games they preview. In this video that one of the devs says that the levels are linear as well as the story. He did say some levels may have branching paths but that they would lead to the same end. They are doing this too focus on the story and emotion in the game.

This is just bad parenting. I have 3 kids myself and they only game for an hour and a half each day. After that they have to go outside and play if the weather is nice or play with their toys in their rooms. Granted they are still young but it is best to start early when making restrictions rather than try to start after you have let your child do whatever they want in the past. Unfortunately there are too many parents who will ignore their kids and let tv and games babysit for them.
I am definitely buying this. I still havent picked up UMvC3 yet but I do have MvC2 downloaded. I am most impressed that this isn't just MvC but also includes Marvel Super Heroes. I spent a lot of quarters on MSH.
I just recently upgraded my PS3 hard drive from the original 250 to a 750. Except for not being able to do a full backup because I didn't have a good PS3 it went smoothly. I did manage to backup most of my families save files and then had to re-download games and dlc but it was worth it. Now I have more games installed at once than I ever did before and with the new free ones coming out for Plus today I will be grabbing a few more.
Has got to be Jak from J&D. They have already shown a level from the first J&D game so having him in it is almost a given.
Actually they have changed God Of War quite a bit with the new one. The graphics have been improved so much that even the menu screen Kratos is the same character model as the one you see in cinematically and gameplay. He also is much thinner than before.
They also have new enemy types which we say in the demo and no longer will killing a minor boss be a QTE. Instead they give you full control over when he attacks and gives you the ability to dodge the boss attacking you. Ano...
Starhawk while similar too Warhawk is not a direct sequel. Also Infamous, LBP, Resistance, and Uncharted are new IPs to this gen. Yes they were showing number 2s and 3s for those. But MS was showing off Gears of War 3, Halo 4, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Forza 4, and Dance Central 2.
This year MS showed Halo 4 again, Gears Of War: Judgement, Forza Horizon, and Dance Central 3. They also talked about the new COD DLC being timed exclusive and had another demo as well.
So they are saying it was a disaster? I'd say it was more like a shipwreck.
