I am part of that loyal fan base, but I'm not waiting to buy it. I have my copy for the PS3 already paid off. I am just waiting till next week when I can go pick it up. lol

Well I have already done everything on that list except listen to the soundtrack. I do however now have the platinum trophy for Arkham Asylum. So instead of doing those things on the list I will continue to watch more episodes of Batman TAS.
If you would click the link and read what is there it mentions Unlocking her Long Halloween costume. Not buying it like the other DLC packs that were announced. Also I would have loved to have seen more Challenge packs released for Batman: AA. There were barely a handful for it so I guess they are making up for that with Arkham City.
Unfortunately Rocksteady already said that Scarecrow won't be in Arkham City. Me personally I would like to see Hush show up.
Well I know AC will be worth my money. So much so I have it paid off. But for me wanting it to win some GOTY awards isn't to justify my buying it. I hope it wins to give Rocksteady some well deserved recognition. It is a pretty big deal for a game to stand tall amongst all others released that year. I agree. I am totally looking forward to Uncharted 3 this year but I think Batman: AC is going to be an amazing game as well. If it does win some GOTY awards it will definitely be well deserved.
I don't get why people are upset about Rocksteady announcing what DLC they have planned for the game after it releases. Most of the DLC is for a few more characters or more challenge maps. So if that isn't for you then don't buy the dlc. Just play the main story mode and move on. This is really just a way to extend people playing the game and giving them some new ways to play since it lacks a traditional MP.

I'm surprised so many people are supposedly acting like they never knew they were releasing these as DLC. They announced it months ago that all preorder bonus suits would be released later as DLC. At least they are bundling them together and not charging for each one by themselves. I for one will be buying the challenge maps and costumes.
I will definitely be getting this. Now want R&C collection like some others have already stated. It was because of R&C and the first J&D game that I got back into platformers last gen. I still go back to play the first three on PS2 from time to time as well.
If I didn't already have Batman Arkham Asylum I would buy AC from Wal-Mart. But since Gamestop had a good deal and the other DLC will come in time I went with them. Also have the game fully paid off. Now I just have to wait patiently until the 18th.
I expect a lot more reviewers will feel as he did about the game and give it high marks as well. I know I can't wait to play it for myself and have been hyped for it since it was announced. Also everything that has been shown about the game so far just looks like Rocksteady really has improved everything that was great in AA. I am glad this reviewer is standing up for him self as well.
I went to Subway for dinner tonight and got one of the cups. I have my download code for the US3 MP already and am now waiting patiently for the 1st so I can use it and start playing. I could have also picked from some other DLC for the game, for Home, or a Dynamic Theme. I also got entered into the sweepstakes.
Also that was a pretty cool commercial. Hope I actually see it on TV once in awhile too.
I got a cup and code for the MP today. But according to the cup it doesn't start until the 1st and the MP lasts until Oct. 31st. Anyway I will try to use my code on Sat and hope the MP is live then.
For the longest time I really was not looking forward to this. I had set my mind to not even bother getting it. But after doing some more research into the game itself I pre ordered a copy. Now the 4th cannot get here soon enough. If you are even interested in FPS games a little bit then you owe it to yourself to pick this up. After all Id started FPS titles and I bet this will be the best one they have done yet.

Also with the Playstation update they have Episode 1 of Terra Nova for free in the Video section of the store. You can grab both HD and SD versions for free. So if anyone missed it last night and was interested go grab it now. Don't have to wait for the re airing on Sat.
I certainly hope their isn't any MP in the game. I won't be playing it if there is either. Just want ME3 for the PC.
You could do that but then you would have to stop the game after the 1st disc. Uninstall it then install disc 2. Then if you only wanted one disc on the system and wanted to play the mp you would have to uninstall disc 2 install the mp and that would take more time away from gaming. So really which is better. The PS3 8gb install at the beginning or stopping on the 360 because someone only installs one disc at a time? If I had a 360 and was going to buy Rage for it I would just do the full ins...
How about you buy the game new instead of being a cheap ass and waiting till it is only 5 dollars below the new price? Frankly for games like Arkham City the money should go to Rocksteady and Warner Bros. and not to some company who makes all their profits on trade ins. There really isn't a single issue with putting the code in to unlock the content if you buy new. It is only if it was bought used where someone would have to pay more to unlock it.
