It's hard and expensive to do - I think that'd deter most people from pirating.
Non-tangible media can be pirated. A copy is made, a copy that is not paid for. People seem to have difficulty with the concept of non-tangible items. You're depriving the copyright holder of a sale - and that would be piracy.
There are such a thing as nice earbuds out there. Personally, I've never tried Munitio, but $90 is nothing for a good pair.

Damn, Capcom. The collective gaming community (that liked these games in the first place) was excited about both RE4 and RE:CVX - but all we got were shitty, half-assed efforts on both accounts. For shame.

IDK if I'd call that boring, or just rage-quitting. But yeah, too many gamers are coddled like that. On some of these games, isn't there a penalty if you leave before the match is finished?
I have to disagree with a few of these, but the author hit the nail right on the head about lone-wolfing. Lone wolves typically turn into rage quitters when they get knocked down and the rest of us are halfway across the map and can't help them. But like some other posters already mentioned, I really don't want to chat with people who would sooner call me a fag or harass me.
There's a difference between quitting because you're bored and quitting because you're getting your ass kicked.
Are you kidding? Take a look at how many times Capcom has re-released Resident Evil 4. The NGC, the PS2, the PS3, PC (which was absolutely terrible) the Wii, iOS 'twice,' and that's just one game, each time getting progressively shittier.
There's a difference - the Ambassador program was implemented because people spent a tonne of money on the 3DS for a pretty shoddy lineup. So in essence, these games are costing early-adopters and ergo are not free. And yeah...they suck.
It does make you sound incredibly selfish to complain about free stuff. Mitigate this by rationalizing how you paid for it and how it's not exactly free.
