You do realize that non-stop action movies are...not exactly the plot-heavy type, right? Metal Gear is all about plot - it's a slow suspense.
Additionally, revealing snippets of something like the Beasts would be fan-service and little else. People who haven't played the game would feel stupid, and the cardinal rule is not to make your audience feel stupid. Make them think? Sure, but only if they can figure it out. That's how Hollywood makes money, to the ban...
Agreed. But I'm thinking Hollywood would rather make it into a series in the same vein of Harry Potter and Twilight than see it as a miniseries.

Having played a Kinect, I can't say that I agree that it has well-thought-out games, or just more licensed shovelware for kids to play.

It's funny. It just tells you something about the kind of gamer - regardless of console of choice - who would install something like that. They're like the people who would take all the clothes off of Barbie and Ken (or GI Joe...or whatever) to get a glimpse of fake T&A.

There's a difference between killing adults and kids. Kids are innocent, that's my philosophy. Of course there are innocent adults but the basic idea that kids are innocent is something that a lot of people believe.
I played and enjoyed Heavy Rain because it was about trying to solve the Origami murders which were of children. The abhorrent nature of the crimes added to the story.
