Kotick seems like such an asshole - he says he doesn't think about the competition, he doesn't comment on the rivalry between Battlefield and CoD, trying to pretend he's above it all.
If you cared about your franchise, you'd be damned well interested in what's going on with the competition. Even if just to keep CoD fans interested.
As long as you don't call it a sport, I'm cool with that. But you'd think there would be a bigger variation on the games that they've played.

For a while there, Wii shovelware outsold the best of the 360 and the ps3.

I got into the series on accident - literally. I rented a game, a game that I thought was something else. I opened up the case and found Hitman: Contracts inside. It was late, and the rental store was closed, so I played it anyway, and after that night I was hooked. It wasn't something that I would have rented on my own, either.
I was able to get a free rental too cause they screwed up :D
I still have the Wii version, still sealed. I rented and played through it multiple times, then decided I wanted it forever. Then I sold my Wii...

I happen to be a really big fan of Law and Order, and I remember Dick Wolf (the producer) wanted NBC to air it in black and white. The execs at NBC kind of looked at him like his head was attached incorrectly and said "We'll make the suggestion," as a polite way to tell him to f-off, they weren't running their best new show in black and white.
The result though was a gritty filter with a blue tinge. LA Noire looks almost like it has been run through a bro...
