I find it strange that IGN would have such shoddy camera work with this unboxing video. Too much blur and out of focus areas. I thought they were better at that sort of thing.
Laptop still looks pretty cool there - if looks were all that mattered :P
The game itself plays on two very obvious female stereotypes - I don't see why the launch party would be any different.
uhhh...ok.
1. A thing done successfully, typically by effort, courage, or skill.
2. The process or fact of achieving something.
Well then. I don't understand exactly why this person doesn't like Achievements/Trophies other than he feels they're meaningless as in-game items. If you don't like the notification for achievements/trophies, I'm pretty sure they can be turned off, as well.
The only thing that I agree with is achievements for not...
It's a 15 year old game style. So yeah...let it rest in peace.
There's a distinct difference between a 'concert' and a symphony. Particularly in terms of how one behaves. Some people just don't know this.
Going to get bashed for it, but the truth hurts...
Capcom is going to take the series where the money is. Whether that cash lies with the longtime fans of the series or newcomers is pretty obvious. Survival horror is a niche market - action is far more broad. You can sell a survival horror game to a fan, but not to the rest of the world. If Capcom wants to stay competitive with their franchises, they need to sell it to the biggest audience and forget about that niche mark...
CoD-ified
Capcom has gone on record stating that there would be a lot of Resident Evil titles released in a short period of time. They did this...sometime last year. Fans were all like "yay! More Resident Evil!"
A game in production for 2 years? No kidding!
People are expecting the series to return to its roots. How? Static camera angles? Pre-rendered backgrounds?
You get a bubble just for having an awesome profile pic.
Tsssssss! Aaah!
80 all new minigames - most of them just rehashes of old minigames!
I don't think they'll get very far with this. Even if they do...what do they think is going to happen when they attempt to take out some of the biggest companies in the world, commerce and the UN?
I hope they're prepared for the worst shit-storm they could have ever imagined.
@ Legion - if you supported something but found that other supporters around you were getting hacked, flamed and probably losing money, would you publicly state that you supported it too?
I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. Sad but undeniably true.
If SOPA/PIPA were to pass into legislation, then no, you 'couldn't post whatever the fuck you wanted because more than half of what people post online could be considered some sort of copyright infringement. The broad language of the bill is what's alarming.
I honestly can't think of a site that wouldn't be affected by this kind of legislation. The fact that so many brush it off so callously is...also a little alarming. Even if only because you may not ...
Fans will buy it if it's an rpg, fps or run and gun. Besides, it's all about $$$ with Capcom. They really could less about the fans it seems.
Although they claim differently, that doesn't look like it's very...upgrade-friendly. $700 is pretty steep for that.
If they could tweak the device to allow it to run on PCs as well, or offer an adapter for it, we'd see a different story here. Even the most basic tablet can set you back quite a bit.
