I wonder how many comments would be on here if only the people who were actually genuinely interested in buying the game were the only ones who commented. I mean that both for this article and in general.
I will get this game, and once the server issues subside it will be a solid racing game. The good thing is that the one issue is something that is resolvable and from those who already have the game it sounds to be pretty much resolved.

The x1 is the best console that people just don't seem to want to buy. According to many on here it is nearly flawless... yet sales aren't there. If the system is without flaw there is no excuse for it not to be the top seller by far... What gives? Either there is something wrong that is fixable to improve sales long term or the system is doomed... You can't have it both ways...
Sony's PR statement clarifies the destiny sales. Note this was a system seller for ps4 and bundle sales were not included in the numbers. Ps4 did move more units. It's uncertain exactly by how much though.

Sony must really love mississippi, because I seem to miss all these widespread outages. Must be because this state is such a massive technical powerhouse... Not saying they don't happen, cause i'm certain they do, but I believe these articles as much as i believe the same ones that report how xblive is having widespread outages... every couple weeks both networks seem to be out of commission completely... I really wish these Chicken Little articles would stop...
If i had a nickel for every article headlining Phil Spencer being committed to XBox One success then i'd have alot of nickels already... Seriously, continuous articles like this just get annoying... Actual news would be if the Head of division wasn't committed to that division's success...

Correction... The gaming division for MS barely breaks even.... The difference is that xbox is a tiny mostly unprofitable part of ms that is kept because it is seen as a Trojan horse for other plans ms has to control the living room and get a foothold into the mobile space...
I wish you xbox fans knew at least a little bit about the company you so fervently defend...
Despite comments, actual sales numbers indicate that most prefer the ps4... That's not really up for debate... The real question is why do people prefer the ps4...
No actually... They are doing all of those things. Their killer is their reputation and image... Outside of the cult following for xbox/halo, people just don't like MS at all... Unfortunately changing people's perception is alot harder to do than about anything else.
I just think its funny that people pretend that there was a big let down... Most everyone who was hardcore about the game got to play it in the beta. Anyone claiming that the game wasn't what it was hyped to be, must have been living on a different planet for the past several months.. After the beta especially there were a plethora of user/peer reviews and commentary about the game for anyone who cared to see what other people thought of their experience...

So.... has no one noted that the xb1 released in more markets it's first year than the 360 did... The 360 sold 7 million in its first year did it not?
Isn't it a little behind last gen pace? Not sure it will move 2 million unit's in less than 2 months.
Not liking MS does not a fanboy make... Maybe Lucas is like me... I like lots of consoles. I even had a 360... Maybe I will get an xb1 someday. But definitely not going to rush out for anything ms is making because they are a massive bs machine in general. I'll let the dust settle first and see where the x1 really stands. Until then i got me a ps4, wii u, 3ds, and vita... and more games already available than I have time to play... Not a fanboy.. just not a fan of ms... hopefully there...

Sony had just as many last gen too if not more... All MS did was market the concept of labeling these lower budget games as "indie" to make them more appealing to the consumer.
The difference is some of the "indie" games coming currently for the ps4 could also be considered AAA.
It is another perfect example of MS marketing polishing a terd and handing it to the consumer as something new and amazing... And people...

go back and read the article. And compare it to your comment. The article merely says it was short 50k... Your comment makes the implication that it's total physical sales were less than 50k. Be a little more responsible than that if you are going to be so adamant in your position...
You don't understand the cost of creating a game do you? 7 million is fine if you like shovel ware... But most AAA games won't profit from such a small install base. That is why most games are ported to previous gen consoles the first couple of years. And yes it will be tempting for 3rd parties to go exclusive to Sony if it means a large install base with no need to port. Maximize turnaround time for game and still generate a profit.
