I'm not sure if it's still on sale but PS+ had it for 5 dollars during the PSN E3 sale. Worth a look if it's still out there
It is literally the exact same thing as this generation with online passes, etc.
Fair enough but at the same time it's an individual preference. The games I know I'll play for a long long time I buy (games like Battlefield 4, Halo, Killzone, basically MP games) but there are games I'm playing or have played with PS+ that I never would have normally like X-COM, Deus Ex HR and several indie games that were great experiences. It's unlikely I would have replayed these single player games as I don't usually do that with any game so the fact I'll lose ...
again, Sony won't do this with the used games....if it happens, it will be EA, Ubisoft, etc.
MS is forcing this on us. Even if they aren't, the perception is they wanted since it is built into the box. Sony has left it up to the publisher.
The used games and DRM might end up the exact same on both Consoles but Sony will have had nothing to do with it.
Where's the list of free xbox live games?
Nm....that about covers it. Maybe Doritos game or something.
360degress is obviously a fanboy but let me chime in as someone who has paid for XboxLive for 6 years and just paid for PS+ last year (and reupped).
PS+ is the better deal by far in terms of value per dollar since this month alone PS+ gets Deus Ex: HR, Saints Row 3, Uncharted 3 Singleplayer, X:COM Enemy Unknown, and LBP Karting (ok, not htat great).
Xbox live supposed gracious gift to the consumers is a +4 year old Halo 3 and AC2 games. You'll get two ne...
That's no fun at all. I remember for the 360 launch I saw 30 people lined up outside the day before and I just casually walked in on release day and picked up a 360 without waiting at all.
There's too many options these days to play that waiting game anymore.
Me too....lucky I did too because the next morning they were sold out.
Can't wait for xx-xx-2013 to get my PS4.
Don't forget Blacklight Retribution and Warframe. While these aren't small games, they are self published and I think qualify as Indie.
No I meant the PCs they were playing on were simliar to the power of PS4 and Xbox One. I realize PCs can have more power
I didn't even think about the controller. I'm not worried about games though I will preorder some through Amazon as well because what good is a console without games (am I right Microsoft from 3 weeks ago?)
I got mine last night on Amazon before I went to bed and it was sold out in the morning. They say they can't guarantee release date delivery on the "standard edition" (purchased after first run.
I'm so happy I got in there when I did as I am stoked to play BF4, KZ: SF and Infamous Second Son (seriously, saw a gameplay demo on IGN and it looked incredible)
I thought I read somewhere that the PC was close to the specs of a PS4/XBOX One...whatever that means.
It was confirmed at 60 fps and 64 players on consoles so I'm in anyway.
Colin Moriarty's tweet saying he would be shocked if PS4 doesn't have similar restrictions concerns the crap out of me.
I hope everything is answered at E3 or I'm gonna march to Redmond and Japan and demand answers (in spirit anyway)
I'm sorry but I'm officially concerned about this...not the Xbox One but the PS4. Microsoft is bending over for publishers to get them money and I don't see how Sony can just not do a thing. Sony will have to have some used game policy or I could see companies going third party exclusive with MS because it's more guaranteed money.
Also, Sony hasn't said anything about this. I believe they said it could play used games but they didn't say in what cap...
Respawn's title (it may be an exclusive)
Rumored Insomniac Exclusive
Mirror's Edge 2 (please don't be Kinect only)
The above would make me so sad as I love Insomniac (Fuse not withstanding) and I would love Mirror's Edge 2.
I'll probably an Xbox one next year or 2 years from launch but still that'd be a bummer.
Is it really that good? I'm not a fan of survival horror games as I don't want to change clothes everytime I play but all these amazing reviews might make me pick the game up anyway.
Does anyone know if this is all horror type scares or does it play more like an intense thriller?
The reviews on this thing are ridiculously good and I haven't seen a game this praised since Uncharted and Halo.
Well my list of games to play at launch went from 2 (Killzone: Shadowfall and Infamous) went to like 4 with no money required (add Blacklight: Retribution, Planetside 2)
What a launch lineup this is:
Killzone: SF, Infamous 2, Driveclub, Watch Dogs, AC4, Knack (meh), COD: Ghosts, BF4, Blacklight Retribution, Planetside 2
I still think Sony has a launch lineup game or two to announce at E3 as well. Holy ****, that's a lot of games
I didn't know that...Last time I tried it, it wasn't but that was several months ago.
I might give it a shot again.
Either way I'm excited to play it on my tv and surround sound. It's a good get for Sony
Please tell me they are keeping the name Halo Xbox One.
Anyway, looking forward to this as it could be the game to get me to buy the old one.
