I was just talking with a friend about how it's become nearly impossible to find a split screen gaming experience. I miss the days of halo marathons on the couch (halo might still have it...don't know) and racing in a need for speed game, etc.
I'm all for this.
They could use a couple, even if they aren't exclusive. There's a great list above of exclusive platformers for the PS3 like Sly, Jak and Daxter (HD remake), Puppeteer, etc.
The last AAA platformer on multiple platforms was Rayman Legends (which I hear is fantastic).
I would love to see more adventure games too. While PS has god of war, Infamous and even Knack counts, the first xbox action/adventure game that I think of is Kameo and that's like...
I'm taking achievements and no origin plus a smoother means of control (imo, never a fan of the ol' keyboard and mouse) as well as my surround sound and a much larger screen than my keyboard has.
PC will be a fine game but I would rather play with a controller as blasphemous as that does sound to some.
I hope I can get into the beta on PC and try out the mechanics of Titanfall. If it's fun to play, then the combo of Quantam Break and Titanfall along with Sunset Overdrive (that's 3 new IP right there....I think it's more than I saw on my 360 for the last 3 years)and whichever Halo comes out this year (5 or 2 Anniversary) will give me plenty to play on my Xbox One.
If titanfall isn't that great or doesn't hold my attention, I'm not sure Sunset Overdri...

Boy, that sounds horrible. Let's take elements from 3 of the favorite franchises in the gaming and movie world and combine them. The parkour of AC, the stellar (imo) combat of Arkham and the fantastic world and storytelling of LOTR. Oh, and I get a Witcher asthetic....that ain't half bad either.

I think it's likely. They can't add the multiplayer to Halo 4 since Halo 4 isn't on Xbox One like they did with the Halo: Anniversary maps (which were excellent btw).
Yea my only concern is that they will do what they did with the 360 and stop the exclusive momentum. I believe the 360 started out strong with exclusives too and then died off.
Hope that isn't the case this time.
I'm planning on getting an Xbox One for the exclusives in Halo, Gears, Titanfall, Quantam Break, etc. It's the complete opposite of my last gen composition so far where the PS3 was my exclusive only machine.
If the differences are already showing now, it's gonna be tough to make them up later on. Last gen the PS3 was behind because of coding problems not hardware deficiencies. The Xone can still be a great machine fi they keep the exclusive pipeline open.
It's more about when the games we knew about come out. I loved Halo 2 and the MP was excellent so wouldn't mind revisiting that in some 1080p glory.
Also, just the fact Platinum would be developing an exclusive is huge to me. I loved Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising.
Quantam Break looks pretty cool and Rememdy is a good developer while Sunset Overdrive looks like a different tone on the shooter (granted need to see more) but it's refreshing. Those along with Titanfall would make a great lineup imo this year (with Halo 2 MP as well...yes please). Put Halo 5 in 2015, Gears 4 in 2016. Oh, and Platinum games would develop an exclusive....enough said on that one.
I'm sure they have some more surprises as well as leaks never get all ...
If this is all true, they might get me to buy one. So far I've been really happy with PS4 and was going to buy Titanfall on PC but that is a steady pipline of what appear to be quality games (haven't seen much from most of them yet).
My gaming preferences may switch from last gen and have the ps4 as my main system for exclusives and multiplats and enjoy xbox exclusives on my one only. Either way, I hope they confirm some of this sooner than later because I'm 60%...

Same but I don't know about top 5...but it went on my probably will buy list. I've been trying to keep that list in check too.
Looks like AC, Batman Arkham and LOTR action mixed in one which is a fantastic package. If the story can hold up and that nemesis feature is as cool as it sounds, this could be a surprise game this year.

yea cause resistance 2 had vehicles, large maps, destruction, water and wind physics on bullets not to mention 920p and 60 fps with great graphics.....yep totally the same thing.
It looks awesome and if the PC has gamepad support, I'll be buying it for that at launch (I know master race about a gamepad but it's what I like to use). If it doesn't, I'll be forced to buy an xbox one (not like I won't enjoy Halo and Quantam Break mind you) but later on this year since south park and infamous will be out in march as it stands now.
Game looks like a blast from what I've seen and heard.
I've had it happen once on Iron Man 3 but just restarted the system and it worked the second time. I'm hoping it's something they can fix with an update but it hasn't affected me too much and I've watched a lot of blurays so far.
Tempted to get Season 2 of the walking dead but I hate buying things before they are completed.
Other than that, nothing for me.
Tomb Raider 2, Titanfall, Infamous: SS, The Order, Destiny, The Witcher 3 and the Division will make for one expensive 2014 assuming they all come out next year of course.

His opinion on Playstation Now makes a little sense but I'm not buying this at all. We haven't seen any of Sony's A team games for this generation past a teaser for Uncharted. Meh, that's all the care I have for this comment, you guys got it from here.
