I'm starting to go back and play a lot of the indie games that I got with PS+ and I just bought Limbo for 6 dollars and Journey for 3.75. I've never been a huge indie game person but I'll give it a shot because there a lot of cool looking games coming out on PS4.
There's nothing wrong with having a multitude of games. The best part is Sony isn't making these games in house so all of their worldwide studios are free to make PS4 full games. I hope Xbox On...
While the TV stuff is cool, I'm not buying a PS4 to watch TV.
Just like I won't be buying an Xbox One when Titanfall comes out to watch TV.
If it can play blurays and awesome games, that's all I need.
For a guy like me who rarely replays games, PS+ is a fantastic value because after I play it and I can delete it and move on. I also got the walking dead for 5 dollars so you can also get great savings on games you do buy.
In my opinion, I would rather rent games like X:COM Enemy Unknown, Infamous 2, LBP2, Hitman: Absolution, etc. than own free games like Magic and Rainbow Six (though it is awesome for it's time). Crackdown was the best game in the games for gold promoti...
really I would have figured PS3 and 360 versions would have been weakest. And people call 8 year old hardware outdated but it's beating a new console.
Oh, and let's be honest, nobody has seen the Xbox One version so who knows if they're equal, different or the One or PS4 is better....Plus, I'm not buying a console because of BF4 differences.
I'm buying a PS4 now because of Killzone SF and Infamous: Second Son. I'll be buying an Xbox ...
The main speaker on there is a huge microsoft fanboy while the others seem to be a little more level to me.
But in the end, it's all preference and people need to chill out and play what you want to play.
Yep, this game will make me get an X1 in the spring. Curse you titanfall. I was gonna hold off on buying a second console till at least the fall with Halo 5 but nooo.....
Games looks awesome
I played it too but I'm more of a couch game so I'll DL it when it comes out.
I think it's a good change of pace. The legal wallhack is something you don't get a lot of it and it's a fun dynamic.
It won't replace BF4, KZ or anything but it'll still be fun and it's free so I'm not feeling like I have to play it
Would have liked another AAA game for early next year but I was interested in Rime, Shadow of the Beast, Hotline Miami 2, Resogun (which I heard was free with PS+ which would be awesome.
I just want the console now.....come on November
Why does this have to come out so close to the PS4? I'm trying to save money for next gen games WB....you can stop tempting me with this.
Biggest week until October I know about.
Really excited for SR4 and Blacklist.
Everyone just whines but there are some new things in there.
The field orders are pretty cool and not something I've personally seen before. I think the "destruction" is beyond silly, I mean I guess it's ok but I would call it more intractable maps than destruction.
The perk system is an intersting idea the way they are going about it and cranked is an interesting if not flawed mod for team deathmatch.
Plus, they've in...
I don't know why but I can't get into the GTA games. Never have been.
SR3 was a lot of fun because it....well it was just that, fun.
It didn't take itself seriously and while some of it was a bit juvenile, it's refreshing to see a game that can make fun of itself and still be a blast to play.
GTA is a quality series and if you like it, GTA V should be awesome but for me Saints Row is the series I enjoy playing more
This is not a big deal anymore now that it's not mandatory to be on. If you subscribe to black helicopters, turn it off and be happy.
Stop bringing it up. (From a person getting a ps4 at launch)
Really?
People still think they're trying to be GTA? Maybe for SR1 and 2 but they've jumped over the trying to be GTA hurdle and it is it's own thing at this point.
If anything Watch Dogs is more of a GTA clone than SR4.
well at least we know people didn't forget how to complain....though I'm puzzed as to how they still haven't figured out how to avoid articles for games they don't like. It's a mystery.
Anyway, depending how KZ:SF multiplayer looks, this might get picked up. I need another shooter to go with BF4
How? They camp and get a kill and die in 30 seconds if they keep camping. I'm sure there's an exploit to anything but this seems awfully anti-camper to me.
The play and charge kit is only 25. It's 75 if you buy the controller and play and charge. So how long until batteries are more expensive than 25 is the question which is maybe a year at most
Tbh, I didn't read past the controller dieing thing (learn to summarize).
But I've had a ps3 for about 4 years now and my controller is going just fine and hasn't had any loss of battery life that I could tell.
I do agree with the battery thing though as I got tired of having to run to the store to buy batteries to play my games. I do feel it's a bit antiquated for a system to have batteries but it's not something I won't buy it ove...
Well, there goes the last thing I had concerns about except whether they will fully support with plenty of exclusives throughout the life cycle (unlike they did with the 360).
I'm definitely getting one now but it's whether I wait until Titanfall or get it at launch.
I've got one preordered and now there's a decision to make. I'll be full up with KZ: SF, Watch Dogs and BF4 as it is.
All consoles will get the DLC but Xbox One and 360 will get it a month ahead of time....which is no big deal because it's basically a beta test for the PS4, PS3 and PC gamers to see if the maps are any good.
Could potentially save people money.
