I can see your point and I'll buy an xbox one if the games are there but tell me that anything microsoft has done in the past few years has redefined anything....In this day and age, it's about copy and pasting but Sony seems to be more diversified at it (more genres..). I'm still not sure there's anything else out there like Heavy Rain (whether you like it or not) or Beyond.

It's not that the Xbox One is a terrible piece of equipment. The TV switching thing is really cool, the voice searching is kinda cool, the sports and nfl deals are neat and all of it sounds great.
The problem is I have a TV and cable box that can watch TV already, I can check my fantasy juts fine on my tablet or phone, I have a TV remote to switch inputs and while it's not as fast or "easy" as the Xbox One, it's nothing that's gonna make me spend 40...
If I remember right (which is certainly up in the air), I think Jack Tretton said the used game issue will be up to the publisher (i.e. online passes) but PS4 will not block used games in any way.
They said the same thing about always online as well.
If you pay attention to this through the wave of fanboyishness that commented before me, I know they'll have games but the problem for me at this point is what the hell are they? I know Ryse but what is it now? It's probably changed significantly since we saw a teaser trailer that didn't show much anyway at that E3.
What is Quantam Break? Is it a shooter? Is it a Heavy Rain/Beyond style game? We know nothing about it.

I am buying a PS4 at launch because I love the infamous series that much (like I love Halo but Halo 5 won't be at launch).
I'm looking at buying an xbox one at some point but gotta have some exclusives for that first year and if they have some killers ones at launch, that's just a lot of money I'll have to spend to buy both consoles
that's a lot of detail for the current consoles to pull off....anyway, the real jump will come in year 2 and 3 of the console cycle...a lot of things will be very similar.
I can see BF4, Killzone Shadowfall, Forza, Driveclub and games like those being the biggest jumps here (who knows what else MS has cooked up)

The BF4 screenshot that leaked earlier on the other hand is basically graphical porn for shooters. Really looking forward to that.
To be fair, Witness is technically a PS3 exclusive (at least it's timed....not sure) but it's not a full game. 15 of those 15 exclusives (I know they won't be..calm down) could be XBL games and none retail big budget games. So while the sentence sounds good, there is also a lot of uncertainty as to the scope those 15 exclusives will be.
I also liked that Kinect had more utility but my only concern is I can do all of that already with the devices I already own. ...

I am bummed it's only an hour though. It seems like this won't be as encompassing as the PS4 reveal but E3 is only 3 weeks away so it's not a huge wait for the big blowout.

To be fair here, that might be impossible with Sony having 13 first party studios that churn out games. I love me some Halo and Gears but Microsoft needs some new jewels to keep me an xbox gamer.

Really? I mean he did help create one of the best selling franchises of this generation in Gears of War. I'm pretty sure he can find a job where he wants minus a few places like Valve or Blizzard.
Microsoft would hire him in an instant and I doubt Sony would be far behind. It's not like he's a beggar desperate for a job (attention maybe...but not a job)

All I remember about this game when I played the PS Plus beta last year was it was hard as hell to aim in. I'm not some shooter god or anything but it just felt unpolished and hard to control. Has it gotten any better in that respect in the last year?
That's awesome news. I don't know how good it is but I don't really like using keyboard and mouse on games that aren't MMOs.
Now I'll have KZ: Shadowfall, Infamous Second Son, Blacklight Retribution (which i'm excited for) and Warframe all on PS4.
I've been a microsoft xbox owner since they started and would love to get an xbox one but they're gonna have to kill it at E3 for me to get one at launch (or at all).
