Good try but I just spent 550 upgrading my 5 year old pc and I can max crysis 2, bf3 and from what ive seen crysis 3 at past 1080p and 60 fps. Not sure where this thousands of dollars myth comes from.

I don't know. I kinda liked what I saw. The visuals looked great of course and there was a bit of that open feeling where you can tackle it however you want.
I'm not expecting this to be the next coming of video games but I'm excited for it as the beta was a blast as well. I even upgraded my PC for this and Bioshock Infinite.

I bought an xbox 360 at launch because I had the original xbox and had never played a Sony game or console before I bought a PS3 two years ago. However, I have no interest in the upcoming gears so that leaves Halo which just isn't enough to buy a new console on.
So unless MS brings out some new IPs and Destiny knocks my socks off, I will most likely be going with PS3 sicne I know it will...
With Crysis 3 and GOW coming out in about a month total, there's just not a place for this game for me. However, I'll be picking this one up during that summer drought. I've never played the Sly series but I've heard great things and at 40 bucks with a 10 hour campaign (on the light side) and 3D for 40 bucks maximum, it sounds like as good a time as any.
I learned my lesson with the ultimate editions a while back....just because something goes on sale doesn't mean it's time to buy if you have PS+.

I'm actually less excited now mainly because I'm not a huge survival horror fan. In fact, I'm not really a fan at all of the genre. The game looked so awesome with the footage they've shown before with the tense gameplay of the humans. I'd be interested to know how much of the game is in the dark like this because if it's just a little bit, I'll be fine and can get through the not so awesome parts (imo of course).

Waiting to get this one off steam for about 30-40 dollars. iT looked good enough but just got caught in the multitude of games in the fall.

It's a good question....I've got both consoles and I would love to get away from paying for xbox live but Halo and the fact a lot of shooters just aren't given the same treatment on both consoles keep me coming back to xbox live.
50 bucks won't kill me so it's not a big deal but it is amazing how nearly every top FPS is a bit gimped on PS3 by developer, controller (personal opinion) or business deal (COD)
Good, my interest in this game is waning but with PS All stars being delayed, there's a chance to get this one still if the multiplayer looks interesting
Dragon Age: Origins was an awesome experience and so was God of War III.
I never played Dead Space as I'm not a survival horror junkie but a lot of people seemed to like it so basically.....this guy is completely wrong about everything in my opinion.

No clue but I'm leaning towards no because there's no way Activision signed off on dedicated servers unless they're legitimately concerned about COD tailing off.
I didn't read the single player info but the multiplayer stuff seemed really cool. I hope they release more detailed information soon but so far, I'm excited
I spent 350 for a new case, intel core i5 3570k, 8 GB Ram, a new motherboard and then I spent 220 last year on a GTX 660TI.
And it's really not that expensive considering the new consoles will probably be 399 and the PS3 launched at 600.
I'm not saying it's the same price as consoles but this 3000 dollar business is a joke. I highly doubt they are throwing a gtx 660ti in there.
