Hitman would be awesome but I have too many games to play as it is (Thank you Steam) and I'm really looking forward to Splinter Cell and Saints Row IV.
I just finished Bioshock Infinite and while I enjoyed it and had more can't stop playing sessions than I did the Last Of Us (single player anyway), The Last of Us was the better and more memorable experience for me plus the multiplayer is surprisingly excellent.
Neither is a bad game though
So let me get this straight.
If the original dev does the multiplayer, it takes away from the singleplayer and sucks.
If an outside dev does it and it doesn't take away from the singleplayer, the original dev should have done it because they don't care and it will suck.
Does this make sense to anyone else? You just can't make people happy. Dumb internets
This is exciting.
I'm about 1-2 hours away from finishing infinite and this is sounding more like an expansion than DLC (which it should be for 30 bucks)
It's definitely tempting.
Deciding between this and Saints Row 4 is difficult.
yea but that won't be a problem if you buy the next gen version (player count). If you don't, just play BF3 because I'm not sure how much of a jump it's really gonna be
Look, I'll probably get it as I love Halo quite a bit and Dead Rising 3 looks good. However, it won't be until next year (probably when Halo hits so there are a good catalog of exclusive games).
The NSA stuff doesn't bother me too much since I've got a walking spy device on my phone. The part that concerns me is the hackers. Let's say you piss off some 14 year old hacker online and he's gonna get you back by hacking in and taking video or listening....
If you're really purchasing it on steam, wait for the daily deal. I've got a hunch it'll go for 50% of or maybe more. I think 24.99 is the sale price that will happen.
I would feel bad for doing this. I might end up waiting for the steam sale since this is obviously a mistake and would be robbing the developers money and Best Buy (don't care as much on this one)
Worst case scenario....everyone remember that heroes on the move game? It was a move only game that had Jak, Ratchet and Clank, Sly, etc. Technically that would be worlds colliding and the fact it says heroes could tie into the name.
I can't imagine Sony is dumb enough to do that with how poorly it did but I think Heroes on the move was made by Insomniac as well (definitely could be wrong on this one).
Don't forget Planetside 2 and Blacklight: Retribution as well.
I could be wrong but I think you need a cable box and the xbox acts as a pass through. You can't just use the xbox as your cable box.
At least that's how I took it at the reveal event.
Wait, the game is so good that the Japanese admitted they liked a western game? That's something to behold.....I'm about 5 hours in and yea it's that good so far
I have a feeling this was their plan all along but the fact that ms stepped up their game means sony needs to show more and it looks like they will.
I never doubted sony would bring the games because of sheer number of quality devs they have under control but I was concerned we wouldn't hear from them for a while. this is good news and trumps ms 15 exclusives whifh I was impressed with.
again it comes down to which exclusives you prefer and while I will...
You also saw a column get taken out in a parking garage and the tank fall through as the street crumbled from below.
Not saying that wasn't all staged and those aren't the most destructible things in the game to make a good first impression but that's still pretty impressive.
I enjoyed BF3 a lot as it is but all I wanted was more destruction and 64 player matches on consoles and it looks like they've fixed both of those on next gen. I'm...
Personally, if they made it where Kinect didn't have to be plugged in for the console to turn on, then I have nothing left to hate except the price.
Titanfall looks out of control and I might get a xbox one when it launches if PC doesn't have gamepad support. I'm getting PS4 at launch because it has more games that I want to play. I want Killzone: Shadowfall, Blacklight Retribution, Planetside 2 and then Infamous in the Spring.
The only thing I...
That's a fair concern but I've got some faith in Sony because they still would like to entice the people that don't play multiplayer at all to subscribe (which there are a lot of those people out there).
So if they are smart (and financially able), they should keep it the same service and just place the mulitplayer behind the paywall. That will keep the current PS3 subscribers happy and the new ones.
Quite frankly, I'm subbed through next Jun...
They're both gonna sell out at launch...if they don't, MS might have a problem on their hands.
Personally, I'm buying a PS4 because they have more games I want right now in KZ, Infamous (ok well Spring) and BL: Retribution and Planetside 2 (both of which you can't easily play with a controller on PC). Also, the Order 1866 looks interesting even though I don't know how ti plays.
On the xbox side, Titanfall looks awesome but it comes out in...
They showed it off on PS4 first? Why would a dev show the crappy version of their game?
My power brick never was an issue. I traded in my 360 because I didn't play any games on it sans Halo. While that wont' be a problem so far on the xbox one, I probably won't get one until Titanfall at the earliest and more likely the next Halo comes out. They have some cool games on it but I'm hoping I can wait for a price drop (not sure I have that much patience). I'll get PS4 now because most of my friends are and i'll get the one when there's some games I...
