Dang, it's already getting close to the major releases.
I've been so focused on PS4 and Xbox One releases I forgot all the new games are coming out.
If it wasn't such a rich holiday, I would be all over COD this year but there's just too many good games coming out. Launch trailer looks like a good time though.
It looks really good but I hope they bring in more color throughout the game. I'm kind of tired of the browns and grey colors that every game with great graphics had last generation.
Killzone made the jump to color, AC4 did and I hope this game does too.
Definitely Battlefield 4. I want that 64 player goodness on my TV.
After that Killzone and either Watch Dogs or AC4 (seriously I can't decide which one to choose)
That's exactly what they did and while it sucks for Japan....MS isn't making any progress with them so why should Sony worry. If Sony can make a dent in the US, that would go a long way towards selling more than the Xbox One.
It's a smart business move...crappy Japanese consumer move however.
Yay, more completely opinioned statements set forth as fact.
Personally, I'm not a fighting game fan so don't care about Killer Instinct just like I'm not a driving game fan so I'm not interested in Forza. Resogun, Killzone: SF and Planetside 2 on PS4 have me more interested than Dead Rising 3.
I'll end up buying the xbox one when titanfall comes out but just give it a rest with this is best or that is best when it's totally up to the...
I can't believe I'm saying this but Shu can draw better than I can....anyway, it's a companion app which looks cool but nothing I didn't know was already coming.
It's some solid reasoning in the article. I thought the same thing when they announced it would be livestreamed. I'll be happy if we get 1 cool annoucement out of it that's relevant to the west seeing as how I thought they were done announcing West things before launch.
I'm debating. If I pick it up, It'll be on next gen.
Don't use steam then....and you might not. Everyone loves Steam but it's the same a digital future would be on consoles. The exact same actually (minus maybe the prices).
I'm not saying their bad games by any means. They are fantastic but they are starting to borrow from each other a lot.
Also to uncharted56 (if you read this). I do see that but I mean the fact of having to hack/conquer/free an outpost/tower to get access to map activities. I'm not sure what else to do but I'm not the creative type. In the mean time, I'll play watch dogs and have a great time.
It's a cool concept but I'm not sure if I'm ready to go fully digital like that would require.
I'm going to give it an attempt at digital with some games and see how it goes but this sounds like the DRM would have to come back at least for digital purchases. Since you can't sell the digital purchases back, it should be easy to implement.
I agree. The only slight problem I have with a game like Watch Dogs is that it's basically AC, Farcry, SplinterCell mixed together. Mechanics like killing all the guards in a building to unlock the hacking spots for that portion of the city is an exact copy of the mechanics in AC where you kill the guards and burn the tower to unlock shops, etc.
Then again, those are all fantastic games and the setting is great. I'm still gonna have fun but I kinda wish Ubisoft wou...
Do you know if you can preorder games on PSN for the PS4? I was thinking about doing it with games I know I'll love like BF4 but I want to get the China Rising pack.
It's not a big deal if not as I can just do all discs the first round and start doing digital with some titles after launch....just curious
Well said...I completely agree with you
(How many times has that been said on the internet?)
40 isn't that high for a MP only game as I will buy BF4 for the multiplayer only but I'm not so sure PvZ Garden Warfare is on the same level as BF4 (granted, only 40 dollars).
If there weren't so many high quality shooters out this fall, I would think about it as it's at least something different.
I'm sorry...read back where I said the 360 sucked and I hated it...
I'll give you majiebeast is trollish in his argument but didn't I just type that and I quote.
"Xbox has some great exclusives, for me anyway, in Halo and Gears..."
Yep, really sounds like I hate Microsoft seeing as how I bought their console, every Halo, Gears and Fable 3 among many other games as I bought the 360 first and my PS3 a few years ago.
Xbox has some great exclusives, for me anyway, in Halo and Gears but I agree that the PS3 exclusives are better overall with games like TLOU, Uncharted, Killzone and Infamous 2 (which wasn't even in the list)
They have electricity. I mean I've seen lights on in reports back from the war and even after.
I can't imagine it's a very stable power grid with the immense heat they get out there. I think the middle east has bigger problems right now than whether the PS4 is releasing.
It reminds me a of that sideways new york game where you walked on the building walls.
It looks interesting and the setting is pretty cool.
I'm interested in that one, resogun, secret ponchos and rime. I'm happy I'll get resogun and secret ponchos for free which is great.
It looks absolutely awesome and the clear graphics champion for the xbox one at launch but my concern is the same as it always is with Crytek....how much fun will it be to play?
I won't be buying my X1 until Titanfall but this is on my watch list of games to get when I do so I'll be interested to see how it goes.
No question that it will make your eyeballs happy though.
